First post here but have been reading and learning a lot! Also I'm Dutch so sorry if some sentences are a bit weird.
I met this girl at school 3 or 4 years ago and I really liked her a lot, she didn't show any interest in me but that didn't stop me to like her. For some reason she always (well not always but many times) forgot her keys on her desk when school was out. So as the gentleman I am I always ran after her and approached her and told her she forgot her keys. She always smiled and said thank you. This happened a few times and this was the only contact we had.
Then prom night came and I promised her a drink (here in Holland you are allowed to drink at the age of 16), so I bought her a drink and we talked, laughed and had a lot of fun. After that (still at prom) I went to a table with some friends to talk and after a while she joined our table and I noticed she was drunk. She was thirsty so I gave her some water. But then another guy from school also joined the table (also really drunk) and sat next to her. And then out of nowhere he began to kiss her for a REALLY LONG TIME! I was really broken after that but I just kept my chin up.
School was finished and so after a few days we both went to other schools in different cities. But after a while she decided to contact me by adding me to Hyves (a site like Facebook but for Dutch people) and for some reason we had a lot of contact and it worked out very well.
Then I asked her out for a drink or something but I was kinda scared that I was going to screw it up and I also still remembered prom night. So the day before we should have had a drink I called her and told her I couldn't come because I was busy (of course this was a lie..) and I said to her let's pick another date and again the day before I was scared and told her I couldn't go. In total this happened 3 or 4 times and she still was interested after the last time.
Then on new years eve she texted me "Happy New Year and I'd love to go out for a drink soon! xx". And I texted back that we sure need to have a drink soon.
After that I didn't text her or call her to set a date and she never contacted me afterwards. But with Hyves (the Dutch version of Facebook) you can see who visited you, how many times and if she viewed your pictures, music etc. And I noticed that she daily visits my profile A LOT!
Now I am not sure if she still is interested (after 3 or 4 years) but it sure looks that way. Should I try it again or just give it a rest and move on?
