Absolutely. I think one of the main things guys overlook is the ability to read girls. I think its one of the most important parts of your game. If your dealing with a brain dud, you're not going to want to talk about anything that's over her head. This happens to me a lot, when dealing with "simple" girls, you just want to just that, keep it "simple." Don't tell any jokes or use any humor she's not going to understand.
On the other hand, when dealing with brighter girls, then you can impress her with what you know. However it needs to come across very casually, not like your bragging. In fact I never bring anything up that may impress her on my own, I usually wait for her to ask a question or if she brings that specific topic up.
Anyhow, the majority of girls are dumb, especially the hot ones. With these kind of girls, just keep it very simple, don't overdo it on your knowledge. The reason for all this is because you need to create a spark or have chemistry. She, and you, are going to feel incredibly awkward if there is no relation. If your talking about things that are over her head, she's not going to be able to relate with you, hence creating no chemistry. And she'll probably write you off in her head. So if you need to dumb it down, do it for the sake of you guys building rapport and having many things in "common."
