Well I don't really like texting as it's to time consuming & apparently it's not good to text to much. I suppose the more you text, the more chance you could slip up. Although I can kind of see womens point of view that they can get to know someone a little more if he texts her.
I keep texting limited. I'll get her number, arrange date as soon as I can..if a few days go by then I'll text her asking "whats up" & tell her a short funny story...I do this so she dose'nt forget me. If she initates text...I like to keep it short as I can unless I have'nt texted her in a few days (in that case i'll use same method "whats up" then tell her something funny that has happened to me recently) if I've been seeing her regular I don't mind going a week without any contact.
Put it this way. I wouldn't like to be the one who has to initiate most of the time as it gives her higher value

I see it as the man's duty to initiate first. A lot of guys will say if she's interested, she will initiate first, and make plans, etc, but I've never really liked inaction in this case. There's some truth to "if she's interested, she will initiate" though. But you shouldn't wait for it. If she likes you, she will invite you out to do things sometimes, but so many girls expect guys to be the ones to make plans, so they just wait on us to do it.

Yeah, stop doing that. Text her to set up plans. A conversation over text every once in a while isn't the worst possible thing you could do, although it's not recommended. If she had fun on your date, she won't forget you. Texting her just so she doesn't is a waste of time. This, in itself, is like placing women on a pedestal.
