inducing hunger?

I have a problem that I'm very skinny and I try to eat a lot, and I do eat, but obviously not enough because I'm not really gaining anything. I'm also on weight gainers and everything.

Anyway my problem is that I don't really get hungry... at all. It's weird I'll only be hungry like once throughout the day.

Do any of you guys know any ways where you can actually make yourself hungry. I'm thinking of eating or taking something that will make you hungry and want to constantly eat.

If it's not eating or anything I'm looking for anything that I can do.

Why do you need to induce hunger? Just follow a schedule and stick the food in at the right times. It's not hard.

If you want to follow something specific you can do the www.skinnyguy.net program. I'm on it, it's great. At lot of skinny guys get great responses. You have to commit yourself though. It requiresyou eat 6 meals a day. It's definitly worth it for everyone though.

Good advice.

Smaller meals spread through the day count cals and gradually build them up, say 100 a week from your base cals.

The way I did it. and I am just like you. Make two or even three of you meals liquid. Milk, whey, oatmeal and flax seed oil.

3 shakes made up t a 1000 cals plus your 3 meals should move you on nicely. As you get used to the intake gradualy replace the shakes with solid food.

Train hard 3 times a week with heavy exercises like squats deadlifts and overhead presses. Do what you can in no more than 45 mins and get as much sleep as you can.

All the above will help get the food down. I'm not saying you will be hungry everytime you sit down to eat, but just treat it as a job that has to be done.

thanks for the replies guys. I found this meal plan on bb.com and I was wondering if it was good or not. And nah I don't smoke weed anymore :/

All the hunger inducing drugs I can think of have bad side effects like sleeping 12 hours a day and mood disorders.

Antidepressants
Antipsychotics
birth control

I don't think any of these appeal to you. Vitamin B12 was considered a good hunger inducer when I was involved in underground bodybuilding communities, but you need large doses and I don't know what the toxicity or side effects are of large doses. Plus the people I knew injected it.

I was just joking.

If you eat more, your stomach will naturally grow to accept larger portions the next time. So you'll be ABLE to eat more. The trick is not to eat TOO much and start getting fat.

I have been using 1000mcg dose of oral B12 for hunger

the other thing i've noticed is my appetite is strongly related to my sleep. I sleep well i eat well, if i dont it goes poorly for both.

I've also been taking a homemade zma stack to hit the problem at both ends.

B12 has a very high toxicity level. Its also water soluble, so thats really not an issue.

I used to have the same problem as a teenager. I think the best solution is to just force yourself. You can't wait until you feel hungry, you have to force it.

Some things are easier to force than others, so play with it a bit. But avoid an all out assault on the candy.

Beat me to it. I'd also recommend watching TV or movies, or reading, we tend to snack a lot during them. If you're a guy who likes to eat during sex, more power to you.
