Increasing appetite?

Hey guys,

Is there anyway to increase your appetite? Other than just "eat more". I'm not a very hungry person and that really doesn't help my attempts to gain some weight. Some days I don't have my first meal until after 5 pm...

So specific foods, drinks, activites, etc. etc.?

I don't know how people have 3 meals a day and that's it. I'm starving if i go over 3 hours without eating.

Sometimes in only 2 hours. Mike, I think MR's point is you should fix your diet to the point every meal has been planned out. You just have to do it if you want to get fit.

If you don't normally eat in the morning, then eat a banana instead. If you don't eat every 2-3 hours then change it. Get used to it and you'll wonder why your parents didn't teach you this stuff.

After a while you can use your stomach almost like a clock: (Ok, so I feel THIS hungry, and I ate at THIS time, etc.)

Use (hopefully inexpensive) protien + fat bars or celery & peanut butter as a start for inbetween-meal snacks.

Then just experiment with exercise and your higher metabolism, the feedback comes very quickly.

You just have to force yourself, that's what most people do and it works. There are no shortcuts around this. If you are motivated you will find a solution. Why do you eat as late as after 5 pm?
