also i have 2 other questions...
are hammer curls for the forearm as well.. or just bicep.? is ther a way to isolate it just for forearm or wut??

and lastly, do yall do ne neck exercises... ? someone told me neck flexion was bad for u and to do Wrestlers Bridge... but i cant find that on bb.com,exrx, or google...

A little background so no one thinks I'm some kind of moron. This guy has a very limited access to exercises because he works out at home and refuses to go to a gym. He wants to bulk, and surf everyday, which isn't the best combo, especially since he says surfing is his main priority. He takes everything I say out of context, and doesn't understand anything I tell him. For every question I've answered he comes up with two more that are stupid and irrelevant. No matter what he tries to contradict my advice with something that isn't even relevant to the topic at hand. For instance, he gets pissy cause he wants to bulk and still surf, but Diesel's guide suggests little to no cardio. Well, wtf, either give up your surfing, eat enough to compensate for it, or expect to not have as solid of gains. I tell him to surf on off days, then he says, "Well Diesel says not to do cardio."
He also insists that decline and incline benching works different muscles, like there's an incline and a decline chest. I told him variety is one of the keys to growth, but he keeps running his mouth about a muscle needs to be worked once a week or you don't get any gains. I'd strongly advise never talking to this guy on IMs because he constantly sends you IMs about his jawline inadequacies, how he will one day be a pro surfer, or how he's a sex symbol but girls don't notice him. Here's the latest IM I got from him, presumably after he posted this here:

RefrusloI: HELLO EARTH TO META...... U SAID U DO FLAT AND INCLINE.. AND THENH INCELINE AND FLAT.. MEANING U DO THE SAME EXERCISE EACH WEEK.. U TOLD ME TO DO THAT ONE EXERCISE ONLY THAT ONE WEEK, HELLO DONT U UNDERSTAND ?? U CANT DO ONE BODY PART ONLY ONE WEEK. "i do exercise 1 and 2 on first week, and second week i do exercise 2 and 1..." UR DOING THE SAME EXERCISE EACH WEEK , U TOLD ME NOT TO DO THAT!!!

Oh..and I didn't tell this kid to do chest and back on wednesday. He can't even copy and paste right. I suggested:

M: Chest, Bicep, Abs
W: Back, Tricep, Traps
F: Legs, Shoulders

As a basic three day split.

i dont refuse to go to a gym, i used to and i have home gym equipment now. i just bought it so i cant throw it away... think there.

plus its not that limited.. i still have upper and lower pulley, a cage system, a bench that can go in all positions(regular, military, incline, decline) preacher curl and preacher pad, leg curl and leg extension...

and asking if surfing is cardio and if i can still bulk is a legitimate question.. so stfu.

and yes if i was told something is set and done, and you arent supposed to change it, i will ask you so im not doing the right thing

im sorry im smart and want to actually improve instead of having it be a waste..dip****.

no i dont constnatly sendu **** about jawline , i asked you ONCE, five minutes of talking about jawline is not constantly

stop taking everything out of proportion

and why the **** are u replying to this if ur not gonna help

and i haev never constnatly said that im gonna be a pro surfer..

once again, good job lying. yes i have an away message cuz its funny, but i dont im u abotu it and talk about it in a bad way.

im a sex symbol but girls dont notice me?? right that makes sense...
if i was a sex symbol girls WOULD notice me moron.

yes, people ask questions, maybe u should understand that.

People ask questions so theyl do the right things. Everyone on this forum has asked questions before, so stop acting like its a sin.

Either stfu or answer my question.

and the reason shoudler is not on friday is cuz i surf on the weekend, therefore it wouldnt have time to heal moron.

Look Lost, you're clearly confused here. I've spent over an hour typing out advice to you over the last week. I have no problem giving it. It's when you question everything I say and act like I don't know what I'm talking about. I'm 5'10 155 and at a 6% BF. I've been offered initial model shoots by two different photographers. My uncle at one point held records in benchpressing and deadlifting in California. He won the LA Bench Press Contest two years in a row. That's where you rep 150% of your bodyweight as many times as possible. My Mother was ranked in the top ten in the world for Tae Kwon Do and went to the Olympics where she competed against the best. I think I know a little bit about training. So I don't need you insulting me and acting like I'm some kind of idiot.

I answered your question in this very thread, I've answered it several times in IMs. It's just not what you want to hear, so you claim I haven't answered it.

stop making excuses..

YOU IMMED ME AND SAID U ANSWERED ME, BUT INSTEAD U JUST INSULTED ME,
AND NOW UR TRYING TO MAKE UP FOR IT?? WTF??

all i asked is if i do incline one week shouldnt i have to do it the next week too.. cuz u cant just do a exercise one week and never work the same part of the muscle again

incline bench would mean upper part of chest.. even tho thats not an exercise im doing..

well it would be good if someone could critique this routine so i can know whats best

anyways i figured ill just do regular bench press, incline/decline db press, flat flyes..... all for chest... and then after 8 weeks i can do the same exercises but in differnt order and on a differnt day??
does that sound ok? like i can just keep these exercises forever but just change the days? or will i eventually have to find a new exercise for the upper part of my chest?? someone told me its ok to ALWAYS keep the same exercises throughout your bb career(i dont mean like professionally so dont laff since i siad career :D )

Lost,

You posted a question recently on how you should train in light of your surfing and you got plenty of advice. Now you ask this completely inane question. Just get on with it man.

Hammers will hit the biceps, brachialis and forearms. And yes of course there are ways to isolate the forearms. Wrist curls for example. Get a good training book with illustrations of various exercises.

i asked a totally different question.. this is about bodybuilding.. that was about whether i should just do stuff like pushups and running or some other type of method, Meta told me to do bodybuilding so thats what im gonna do, and now im asking about the routine if u have to always do incline or decline if u do it before, so that u dont lose muscle.
they are totally differnt questions.

maybe yall dont know this, but the point of a reply is to HELP the person thats asking the question.

Some people can't be helped. And you did tell me you were a sex symbol, the first time I spoke to you online. After you asked for my picture you told me you didn't have any but many would consider you a sex symbol. Look here, your a good guy and I don't wish you any ill-will, but you need to learn to listen people and not jump off the deep end. When my cable goes out and when I sign back on I don't need to be accosted by you and your cursing because I left in the 'middle' of a conversation. Anyone able to attend public school should see in my previous message that I DID answer your question, and you completely ignored it. You're still ignoring it. And I already told you about isolating your forearms if you recall. I suggested the same thing as Templeton. So why are you asking it again? Please post any logs you have..because I have nothing to hide.

uhm.. i didnt say " i was a sex symbol" and the first time we talked was a few months ago... kinda funny how u wanna bring it up in this post..

maybe you misjudged me, when i ask questions, im not saying that what you say is wrong, i just dont understand it.

thats why people that dont understand a subject in school go to extra help. they dont understand. they dont go to extra help because they hate the teacher.

the times i got really mad wher when you purposely ignored me.. not the times ur cable went out, remember when ur cable went out i was jokin with u about it like "u need a new cbale company ;p"

the only time u said anything about my question in this post was one of ur last replies.

i dont know why u get so upset about a question.. u just didnt explain it for what i wanted to know..

i think the point is as long as i do regular bench press.. that works every single part of the chest.. so if i do some exercise for the inner part of the chest for 4 weeks.. and never again.. then it wont matter cuz it wont get smaller cuz the bench press is still hitting it.. atleast thats what i understood from someone elses response.

u didnt explain the part about its still getting worked as long as u do bench press, so i was still confused.

miscommunication=bad.

no, it was not the same as templeton.. templeton was telling me about how i made a post on what TYPE Of treaining.. u are talking about BODYBUILDING SPECIFICALLY.

and look.. this is what the dude told me, and i understand it now..

"If you work incline your lower chest also gets hit but the emphasis is on the upper chest.
You can't isolate one part of the chest, so if you keep dong exercises for the chest it's OK wether it's incline/decline or whatever."

if u just had explained it like that, i would have understood.. but u didnt explain it, u just said do this do that.. how am i supposed to know if its the best way to do something if i dont even know why its working...
