incline and flat bench

whats the difference all i know is incline is harder but do they work different muscles or sumthing ???

also with my deadlifts my lower back gives out b4 my legs is this normal thx

The incline will target the clavicular head, or the upper part of your pectoral and your shoulders more, while the flat bench or decline will target the sternal head or lower larger part of your chest. The sternal head is much larger than the clavicular head and much more powerful which is why incline is harder than flat or decline bench.

Don't expect your lower back to out muscle your legs in the deadlift. Your legs are much more powerful than your lower back

wba says incline is better for growth. I like it cuz it builds your chest upwards along with your shoulder.

You shouldn't be giving out with deadlifts. Way to risky for your lower back. But yeah, back gives out before your legs. Make sure you hips are always low, so that you are never 'bending over'. Legs shoulders and hips all go up at the same time.
