Hey guys,

Im from India and I don't know if there are any Indians(living in India) on board here.

I noticed that here the women don't seem to be very used to being approached by guys, as a result of which they seem to be taken aback whenever we approach.

It then kinda looks like we're coming on too strong when we werent really doing anything wrong.

It's like everyone here waits around for something to happen, for example, meeting a friend of a friend coincidentally and then taking things ahead from there. There's too much of waiting involved in this.

This one time a cute chick was giving me looks and I approached her, she seemed startled by the fact that I actually approached her and she blew me off.

This is what I have noticed, if there is anyone living in India who has noticed this then tell me.

And the rest of the people here, what do you think about this ?

Wow, I don't know if you should directly approach so much of the aggressive and casual Western dating tactics in a culture like India's. Seriously. It's a much more traditional and conservative culture, so outside of sluts, you will probably have a hard time. I feel its best to seek out Indian DJs on this forum and discuss this amongst yourselves thru private messaging.

It's not as conservative and traditional as you might think. I live in Bombay, and its almost like any other big city of the world.

There are women who would like to be approached, but they aren't everywhere and they're not necessarily sluts.

Anyway, lets see what to do.

Actually, I was thinking about this and I realised that things are pretty ****ed up in a way here.

A guy meets a girl through a friend of his(not a setup mind you) and then somehow gets her number. They speak on the phone, but rarely meet alone. It's always in the group through which they had originally met.

Finally, a day comes and the guy decides to 'propose' to the girl. Here, propose doesn't mean asking the girl to marry him, but simply telling her that he 'likes' her and asking her if she likes him.

Now don't ask me why it is like this, IT JUST IS.

But I also noticed that girls irrespective of where they are from, think on similar lines. I say this because whatever I have read on the forums about women, has mostly been true even for the women here.

I cant change anything about the way things are here. But I have to do something instead of sitting around. Have to figure out what.

i was in bombay last yr and yea..like u said, they blow you off. who gives a shi!t...i still go up and talk 2 them..i think the culture is becoming more open and they are easing into this comfort zone of guys comin up and talkin 2 them. i think this would be the one scenario where if the guy gives the girl her # instead of getting hers, it wouldn't be considered AFC

i mean, go up to her , introduce yourself...give her a card or something with your # on it..tell her you'd like to keep in touch and take it from there. i reckon this won't work anywhere else but it MIGHT in india...why don't ya try it out and let us know?

India is like the worst country in the world to make an aproach! A friend of mine was there a month, and he told me all about there. Girls are really awkward about aproaches, its a diferent culture. You dont even have clubs there.

And Trance, dude you must be mistaken if you think there are no clubs here. What kind of clubs are you talking about ? Things are a lot different here in some ways, and those differences are carried onto the 'clubs'.

Bombay doesn't have the best clubs, most of them suck. I despise those places, but I go occasionally, since its not really worth it going often. Man, you should visit Goa ! Awesome place! Its almost like its not part of India.

Its getting boring, and I just wanna have some fun.

i know a bunch of people straight from india at my uni and most of them are the biggest party animals, smokers, druggies and drunks i know...makes u wonder how they do it back in india

There are huge party animals here man. Everybody does stuff. Only the chick thing is a liitle weird. It's not that it doesn't happen at all, but the cases are very few I think.

Im surprised there's nobody from India here. Maybe it's because of how everything works in India.

Offer a dowry to a chick when you cold approach - hopefully she nor the authorities would see it as a offer for prostitution.

This is what I used to think too...
but learnt that it is not that way... by accident..

These are the things that worked for me without even knowing:
- Push - Pull
- Disinterest
- Putting her in the LJBF
- (she somehow got +ve signals of interest.. but I kept doing the LJBF on her).. basically push - pull where she was confused does this guy like me or not.. is he interested.
- of course.. here.. UPfront PU is a little tricky..
that is because of ASD/Social Dynamics being different here..
- so you have got to initiate but making sure that you dont come on too strong.. no GWM, no sexual state, no big time player routine.. UNTIL you are social proofed, or you know her as a friend.. and then she begins to notice that you have HV (DHV - domenstrating high value)... that is the key of the game here..

- a bunch of really "good" friends of mine who were female... 3 of them fell for me.. without me knowing..
- You have to slip in under the RADAR as an AFC.. enter as an AFC.. walk and demonstrate value as an alpha.

it works the exact same way.. but with a stark difference..

- Social Proof. through friends or by yourself..but of course ONS are a bit of rarity.. but social proof can be established within 2 days.. and you are good to go.. of course your SS speed will be a little slow.. so its not SPEED seduction but SLOW seduction..

- Only thing is morals are a LOT prominent for everyone.. so ASD is high.. forget females.. ASD is high in males too.. hehe.. i was that way.. maybe still a little due to the MORAL values induced into me by my family.
