You know when on the back of the bottles for something like Creatine pills, or NoXplode, it says your intake for non-workout days. Well i have found myself never really following through with that for various reasons. Like pure forgetfulness, hungover, or just long periods without gym from sickness...Does this negatively effect, and or elminate any gains it would have made if you had taken it every day? Also i am on a 3 day split so that means thats 4 days im taking this stuff, without even working out..seems like a waste? Is this just a company tactic to get you to consume more? or is it neccessary to keep gains?

depends on the supplement; in most cases you should take them on off-days as well but not always. which supplements do you mean specifically?

specifically for me im talking about the ones i listed in the above post. Im taking creatine capsules ( purple K), and No2xplode, both which have the suggested dosages for non-workout days. I assume all creatine whether capsule form or not would say to take them on non-workout days...my theory was its hurting me taking it just on workout days, because it doesnt stay in my system and my body is just building up tolerance for it... but im not sure, maybe its not that bad..any ideas

No, you don't have to take those two. I don't take creatine on my off days. Ultimately it doesn't matter much either way (as it takes a while to significantly increase your creatine stores anyway - likewise with depleting them), but I like to save money where I can.

I wouldn't take creatine on offdays either. Don't see a real need although I'm sure some will insist it's optimal.
