... i've gotten no reply.

Went on a date last nite. She said I was good looking, everything she expected, very hot, wanted to meet again, wished she was with me (after I left) and this morning she sent me a text message.

Now I sent her back a message an hour later and have gotten nothing since. Its now 5 hours later. I'm telling myself she might have run out of credit, left her phone somewhere etc etc but another part of me is saying they're just excuses and she isn't interested all of a sudden.

Anybody have any thoughts?

You should be dating more than 1 woman and then you won't really care as much about this type of thing. I know that doesn't change your current frame of mind. So my advice for the immediate situation is: sweat it out

Yeah I have a few dates lined up but I like her. I'm spinning a few plates so it won't be as bad as it used to be. So overall I'm not too bothered.

Of course she has, and for some reason, she's sitting on it and giving it some thought. She might even be discussing it with her friends (just like what you're doing now on this forum) and getting advices from them. You put her in a position of power when you text, used to have it done to me plenty like you described and now i do it to girls, she sends a text, i pretend ive fallen asleep or whatever.

Then she thinks about me loads because i dont respond, i text back the next day saying i fell asleep or whatever, great way to get them alot more intrested.

Haha, this is what I expected. It sounded like this girl was really into you. She would only stop texting you indefinitely if she was a terrible flake. You shouldn't worry after 5 hours, but if she doesn't text back in one week then something's up.

Dude, don't let a woman get the best of you. The last thing you should worry about is whether a woman has texted you back or not. If you were the prize (or the catch) you would look at the situation totally differently. You'd have so much going for you that you wouldn't let her phase you.

Where is your strength? Are you a man or a wimp. Do you let other people's action control your thoughts and emotions or do you control them? Once you've given her the power that you're actually giving her now, she'll be so over you and swinging to the next branch.

This woman has her own life, and she will get back to you, but until then you can't let her know that is getting to you. In fact, it shouldn't be getting to you. I usually don't leave VMs (habit of mine, nothing to do with gaming women) and I'd try again later.

In your case, I'd ring her again instead of responding to that TXT, so she gets the point of calling you, not TXTing. As you said, it's the age of TXT, so they have that bad habit and don't realise it themselves. You gotta show them what you prefer and see if they follow it.

You ignore her. If she doesn't have enough respect to call you back, she's not worth the trouble. She's only trying to find out how much of a douche you are. If you leave the ball in her court to actually prove herself, then you'll have the upper hand. If she doesn't make another move, she's doing you a favor by cutting you lose, and you can just assume that she has bad taste.

I agree with ignoring her, it will drive her nuts.

After all, I'm supposed to be out with another woman right now, because when this one didn't answer my call, I called up my other plate, and we are out having fun right now.

I know this isn't reality, but it should be. You know what I mean?
