This girl I'm hanging out with is great and I would love to have a relationship with her. Her love life has been a bit of a rollercoaster lately. The guys she liked turned out to be jerks and the last one did not feel the same way about her. She already knows how I feel about her, but right now she considers me more of a friend and is enjoying being single. Any ideas how to go from here?

You say that the past guys she's liked have turned out to be jerks.

Well if you're a decent person,but the past guys she's dated her have been jerks,then what makes you think you have a chance with her?


If let's say the past 5 guys have all been the same (jerks),then we know what type of guy she's attracted to.



There's a very good chance that #6 will be similiar to the previous 5.



So unless you're like the others guys,who ALL turned out to be jerks,you probably don't have a good chance with her.

The reason she's not with the last guy isn't because she wanted to be single,it's because he rejected her,because he didn't feel the same way,right?



She told you she enjoyed being single so YOU WOULDN"T TRY to date her.



It was a pre-emptive strike. I think she's "sensing" you like her,but she's not interested. So she told you the "I'm happy being single" line so you wouldn't try to date her.
