I had an epiphany. I was just alone at my house, and I wondered "Why can't a girl just like me for me? I'm a good person and would treat her right. I wouldn't kiss her @ss, and I would be a good bf."

But instead I'm supposed to always be "on" when I'm with a girl. I always have to use these ****y and funny attitudes and play games. A girl won't like me because I sit at home and watch TV and chat. I always have to be "cool".

Why not just find a girl that likes to sit at home and watch TV and chat. The two of you can be "not cool" together.

The trick is to make it so that you don't have to be someone else, so that you don't have to try to be cool. You have to internalize "being cool." You don't just cover up your personality with a cooler one, you MAKE yourself cooler.

if you're trying to be something you're not then women will see that and you wont get success. you will be sabotaging yourself because you're not being congruent with who you really are.

I don't know, I guess it's that from observing real life, it's always the cool guys who get the girls. It's always the bad boy types, or the ultra-rich guy.

Believe me you can definately find a girl that would love to sit home with you and watch TV and play Halo till 5 in the morning but here's the catch.............. SHE WILL NOT LOOK LIKE PAMELA ANDERSON............... AND SHE WILL ALSO NOT LOOK LIKE JESSICA ALBA OR ANY OTHER HOTTIE YOU JERK OFF TO.

Be prepared to date a fairly overweight chick with not so perfect hygiene amd maybe some thick ass glasses. Stop trying to land yourself an HB7-10 and I'm sure you will find a girl who is exacly as you describe. Enjoy :rolleyes:

lol...ok maybe my initial post was misleading...i'm not saying all I do is sit around watching TV...i'm just saying it would be nice if a girl was willing to do that some of the time instead of always going out to some hip club/bar/restaurant/shopping mall every weekend.

This is what you wrote in another post, and it's kind of in the same ball park of what I'm getting at:
"And it's not like I don't get ass, I'm just tired. I'm tired of the games. I'm tired of having to do everything........ the pick-up, the phones calls,planning the date, picking them up, paying for everything...... and what do they do? Nothing but bytch and complain and don't appreciate anything"

LOL I remember when I wrote that............. I was in the midst of chasing around a bunch of hotties that I was meeting in clubs and it was getting frustrating. Bottom line is that hot chicks are high maintenance. How much are you willing to sacrifice looks to date a girl that doesn't want to go out much.

There ARE hot girls out there who DON'T go out much because they are very into their job or school. They are not much fun but usually enjoy spendng time at home after a hard day. Also they expect you be at least on their financial level. Do you have a good career to attract these kinds of women?

The games are lame. I guess that's where maturity comes into play. When you're both mature, there are no games and it's down to business. No BS.

It sux too when girls like you alot but when around you won't lead that on to you. Only do you hear it through mutual acqaintenances.
