I'm pretty sure her mom hates me..

Well, I've been with this girl for 6 months and the antics have just started.

So, everytime I call her house and her mom picks up I always get some bs excuse of why I can't speak to her. However, when anyone else answers it's fine.

I took her out Friday night and after being out for 45 minutes her mom calls to ask if she's OK. Then calls her 4 times during dinner and then on the way home her mom calls @ 11:30 asking if I'm drunk driving, which I never do btw - I drink on rare occasions. We get back at 1:30 am and her mom is waiting for her.

And then tonight, I call her house and her mom answers and says that she's not feeling well and that she's asleep. Mind you it's only 10 PM.

I've asked her about this and she just says "oh nothing". So, my question is, is that am I just being parinoid? If not, should I ignore this whole thing or should I take some sort of action?

try being extra respectful, and i don't know how you go about your phone business but if some high school tool was calling my daughter every night i'd start thinking "damn, who is this loser who keeps calling my daughter." and that could be how her mom feels.

i think your being paranoid dude, it's probably a good thing if her mum doesn't like you as long as the chick sees no logic in her mum's over reacting, basically your the bad boy that her mum doesn't like and that's good, much better than the nice guy that mum likes but she has no feelings for

personally i know plenty of chicks who's mum thinks i'm da bomb and it hasn't helped me one bit

i think the MOM is being paranoid and doesn't have a good relationship with your GF, cuz its like if she is not allowed to have her own doughter, then nobody else can. Got that from personal experience that pushed me to the edge of seeing a psychiatrist, but thats hellalot too long story.

My last girlfriend. Her parents hated me. At first I was really nice and polite. Spent 4 months of it trying to win them but everytime they just said **** to her behind my back. So i started being a bit more forceful and conflictive and they stopped it. I dont mean i was rude. I just stopped sucking up and started speaking my mind no matter what to them. I think they saw that i didnt care what they thought (which i didnt aslong as my gf liked me) and like i say they stopped...

As for you. Your gf needs a mobile or msn account for you to get her direct.

haha well, we're in college and we're off on break and she left her charger back at school. The thing is, is that I count the ammount of times I've called and her mom's answered on two hands.
