I'm noticing something with women in the 30-35 bracket...

I'm 34 years old...obviously, a lot of my female Facebook friends are around my age or at least in the 25-35 age bracket.

What I'm noticing is a huge drop off in appearance with a lot of women once they hit 35. I'm talking a major shift in appearance: everything sags, face looking weathered, body losing it's tightness.

A few girls I found pretty attractive at age 29 look pretty haggard at 34. Flipping through a few photos of this one chick, I was pretty shocked at how much she had changed in a few short years. She was single the entire time, had no kids, went through a divorce a long time ago, so what gives? No real life stressors for her.

I had a 15 year-class reunion (33 year olds) and wow...75% the women of our class looked like garbage.

So what gives? Has anyone else noticed this? Is the 35 year old checkpoint the time when looks start deteriorating for woman? I always heard 40-42...but I'm seeing the decline a lot earlier.

They expire at about that time, mother nature didnt get the memo about women hitting their "sexual maturity" at their 40s and still make them expire the same time they lose their fertility.

Anyway 35 is not that bad, I can tell the girls move from the fresh youthful look from the womanly one in their late 20s, I swear that there are girls my age that look like mature married housewifes.

Nope. Haven't really noticed this. A lot of the women I know in that bracket that are still single could easily pass for 25-30.

When I was around 25 I used to think that everybody over 30 looked like corpses.

When I was around 35 when I saw other people of the same age I would think "Who are these old people?".

But a funny thing has happened. Now that I'm 52, I'm noticing that a lot of girls in their 30s and 40s are kind of cute, have nice shapes, and some even look damn youthful to me. Even some girls in their 50s look pretty good. So I think the eye begins to get a little more forgiving as you get older. And you compare them to what you see in the mirror everyday lol. That said, some women just get plain nasty looking when they age, and they're never going to look good to you. Even women who take care of themselves and may technically still have a nice shape, they can look just absolutely disgusting from a sexual standpoint, if they don't have that certain look going for them.

It all depends on the girl, it's case by case. It's all upkeep. Diet, smoking, drinking, sleep, stress, exercise, style, even geographic location. Everything in this world is maintenance. Once you get lazy, entropy takes over. Just for the sake of discussion, look at Helen Mirren in this photo:

If you want to do something, you'll do it.

Do not be too easy. If you are too easy to get, she will not want you. If you are too easy to keep, she will lose interest in you. If you are too easy to control, she will not respect you.

maybe depends where you are too. Im in Vancouver Canada and a lot of the women here are into fitness and being healthy, a lot of them are still hot.
Back where I used to live in the UK most the women drink like fishes, smoke like chimneys diet coke is considered a health food.

Should be said that the same applies to the men.

I think it's also a cultural thing... American women don't tend to age gracefully. I know a lot of Asian and Latina women who look REAL good well into their 40's... and the drop-off comes later.

But a leading factor into this can easily be diet/exercise/lifestyle/etc...

That said, I do have plates that are 35+ but look REALLY good for their ages. Granted, none of them have given birth, so that's an advantage.

Until maybe a few years ago, I would have still banged Helen Mirren. Classic sexy broad.

Quite a few factors involved in women keeping their looks, like explained by other posters. Genetics is a big factor but also what they do to themselves and how they handle stress and hardships in their lives.

I'm friends with a 40 year old that is one of the most beautiful girls I know. She's all natural, has a relaxing life, doesn't drink (allergic to it), doesn't go out, gets a full night's sleep....beauty sleep I guess.

I'm also "friends" with a 24 year old that is declining very fast. She was a hotty just a few years ago but is declining very fast. Now her favorite past time is hanging out in bars and eating cheese sticks....

The 40 year old is 16 years older but everything about her looks better. Everything....

Usually, their looks start deteriorating after 25, but if they work out and have a healthy diet, they can still look pretty good into their late 20's. After 30, their looks start to decline exponentially, though some are more resistant to the effects of aging than others.

Women who are 30-35 are in crisis mode with a serious case of baby rabies.

Very dangerous age group....if you have resources, your money and security will trump all else!

Or rarely they already had kids young and they don't want anymore.(TT) & kids are almost out the door. Still a dangerous/stupid venture as the emotional baggage is guaranteed to be heavy! She was still in great shape compared to younger woman I've dated. NEXT!

I ditto Zekko; we do become more forgiving as we get older. Where I live is a yuppie commuterville and the place swarms with gorgeous schoolgirls. Their moms look like cows. Whole Foods is THE place to find mature hotties. There are still lots of hot 50-somethings, I see them at the fitness centers, but they do have trouble keeping the hotness after that. I'm 59; my sis is 62 and she's in better shape than many women half her age. I finally got to shag a client I used to lust after, but that was a letdown. Her looks have crashed over just a couple of years-- being a meth-head doesn't help. She's got a real cute bod, but it's not enough.
I keep myself in pretty good shape, my hair's not gray, and I stay physically active, so I'm allowed to be harsh on women who don't measure up.

I think we are entering a time where remaining attractive becomes a choice, more than anything. Provided a women hasn't become obese, various products have the ability to keep a good percentage of women looking good into their later years. Realistically I can see products and procedures (not necessarily cosmetic) which will make them look good for longer. I don't necessarily think tanning makes all women look older, in most cases it enhances one's appearance, however if overdone it can be detrimental.

The partying lifestyle is ruining younger women. They are just wrecking their bodies with the constant drinking, smoking, sugary drinks, little sleep, fast food, etc... I've seen so many girls from my high school class go from hot to nasty.

The last girl I dated was 35. She was cute, but looked a bit weathered. In her younger years she was quite the party girl, so I think that contributes. When I compare her naked body to my current 25 year old gf, it's like night and day.

The fact of the matter is women just generally hit the wall around 35. Yeah yeah yeah I know there are always exceptions...we've all known the 40 year old smoke-show. But they are just that: exceptions. They don't disprove a rule.

I think lifestyle (partying and diet), sexual partners, and genetics all play a role. Sexual partner count seems to age women much more than men, although they will rant and rave till the end of time that it doesn't.
