2 weeks ago, i started going to the gym. I'm going at least 4 times a week now. 1 week ago i quit my disgusting addiction to video games. I was an addict for my entire life, i made myself top masters in SC2 so that should say something.
I noticed that my body is amazing, it feels so good to be myself. It feels so great to wake up, 4 days in a row now. I'm constantly and consistently in a good mood and thats something that hasn't happened in a very long time.
I'm questioning myself haha, WTF did i spend all my money on? I spend my entire life playing 'entertainment' **** that didn't really entertain me... The only thing that i really enjoyed while playing SC2 was constantly getting beter and beating the compition, but it left me so frustrated. In terms of working hard to get better i found that improving my skills in SC2 or in real life shared a lot of commonality's. But that game leaves me empty, life leaves me full of energy. Why didn't i make this goddamn choice sooner? ****! Hah.
I'm noticing some changes. I used to need at least 8 hours of sleep and upon waking, another 10 minutes. This week i was getting up automatically after 6 and a half hours of sleep. I'm super fit without any downtime. I'm also super thisty, i sometimes wake up in the middle of the night because my body is begging me for water. Whats up with that?
All in all, this forum has some amazing people in it. Now that i'm finally rid of my gaming addiction by replacing it with health and fitness i can focus all my mental energy on improving. Gah, so excited!
