Two days ago a guy tried to steal the wheels off my friend's car. Unfortunately, the guy got away. When he did it he took all the tires off of the hub but left the car sitting on the tires so that the car looked normal if just glanced at, so that when he wanted to he could use the jack and just yank the tires real quick. Anyway we got to the car before he could take the tires, although he was able to steal my friend's speakers and skateboard out of his car. Here is where the problem starts. When we were trying to put the tires back on the car fell of the jack and crushed my arm between the car and one of the tires. At the same time my ring and pinky finger were caught between the hub and the rim of the tire. To make a long story short my arm has numb places in it where i can't feel much and I don't know if it will ever come back. I went to the hospital but it was an afterhours clinic because I don't have insurance they made it sound like everything would heal fine but I don't think it will. The numb places aren't huge one is like 5 inches from my wrist it's little bigger than a quarter close to where the car pinned my arm. The other spot is on one of my fingers and it's about the size of a dime. I'm worried and I wondered what you guys thought.

Another thing is that we all really want to get back at this guy. Even though what happened to my arm is my fault I feel like he is partly responsible. We know people who know who he is and we can find him. We've already looked into it and I don't think the police can do anything about what he did. Do you guys have any suggestions as to what I should do about this?

Thanks for listening. This is something that I really wanted to get off my chest.

Exhaust legal remedies first. Does he have any money or assets, or is he "judgement-proof?" What about you? If you have money and mess with him, he can sue you and take your money. If you're both broke, start with revenge ideas that are not exactly against the law. Physical violence is a last resort.

Think before you act.

back in the day, i would put my tail between my legs and be quiet.

NOW- I would take a month to plan things out to a dot. and then I would find the bastard, burn his house down, along with his car, and everything he owns, shoot him up with cocain, and stick him in jail...

i'm not telling you to do this, this is just what i would consider if it was me

As far as I know he doesn't have any money. I know he drives a red eclipse. I'm pretty sure he doesn't have money, I mean he was stealing my friends wheels and they were just stock Honda wheels. Anyway, I'm not rich so I don't really have to worry about getting sued. We talked about going to his house late at night and stealing the rims off of his eclipse. That's the most popular idea so far. The other is to beat the **** out of him, but he would know who did it so, I'm really not that big into that one.

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

Revenge is quite a concept. Society frowns on revenge in general but cheers when the hero defeats the villian.

In general the laws protect individuals against revenge plots. There are books that address revenge. "Get Even" is one such book.

You could slash his tires and as he replaces slash them again.

I don't recommend taking any action at all. As Skel stated earlier Karma will take care of him. The best thing to do is to focus on healing yourself. You could have temporary or permanent nerve damage or temporary or permanent blood vessel damage.

I think you're right Paradox. It's like part of me wants to just turn the other cheek, but at the same time I want him to pay for it. The real part I'm worried about is the nerve damage thing. I mean it's been two days and it's still numb. You know how it feels to touch your arm or leg when it goes numb from laying on it to long? It's like that, without the tingling. I'm hoping it's because of the bruising. If it is seriously damaged what can surgery fix it? Could it just come back on its own? The doctors kind of pissed me off. They took x-rays when I told them nothing was broke. Then came back and said well nothing's broke like I didn't tell them that. The doctor asked me if I could feel my fingers and I said yes so he just acted like it was nothing. I have feeling that it won't return to normal. I'm real stressed about this.

dude, if I were you I would not get involved with any of that. you don't know anyone as well as you think you know them.

true story, a friend of mine from high school got killed with a shotgun to the back, supposedly by some thugs that were his "friends" in the drug business. no one thought he would get killed, or in that way.

you don't know what kind of connections this guy has, no matter how well you think you know him. it's not worth it... even if you do something and he doesn't find out it was you, it's still wrong imo.

don't get yourself in deep sh!t...it's too easy to die these days.

what the heck is the point anyway, you steal his rims...your arm will still be numb, and his cheap-ass rims won't pay the medical bill if you decide on surgery anyway...DON'T do SH!t

worst case scenario, this guy will know someone who will either kill you or come after you for something worse...and, the cops maybe on your tail at the same time, as that guy could go to the cops for his stolen rims

it's not worth it

You guys are right. I'm not going to do anything to the guy. I know a guy who is friends with the guy and he went and had a talk with him. The guy said he was high on Xanax and he just felt like stealing. He actually gave away the stuff that he stole out of the car. He is scared of the guy I know so he is going to try to get the stuff back. This thing about my arm really depresses me though. Yeah, it could have been worse and I could have lost my arm, but it still bothers me that I might never be able to feel those places in my arm again.
