IGF-1 and High Glycemic Load Carbs = super muscle growth?

Alright, my question is very basic. High glycemic carbs like white rice and candy stimulate huge insuline release, along with IGF-1 growth hormone. So, by eating all these crappy straches we can benefit by boosting hormone levels and thus aiding muscle growth?

I always thought those foods were garbage, i don't know about this, any thoughts?

Low Glycemic Index carbs improve responsivness to insuine and HGH....man...now I'm REALLY confused. So IIGF-1 levels are high after eating junk, aids in muscle repair....but damages the cells such that they develop a tollerance to the IGF-1 levels, thus decreasing the benefits time after time. Sh*t, this is really messed up.

People usually use dextrose (aka glucose) in their post workout shake to cause insulin spike. Bit it's not really recommended to intake sugary carbs anytime besides then as it will cause unstable insulin levels.

High glycemic carbs are garbage carbs that Americans eat all the time. Potatos, Chips, Frenchfries, White Bread....cany bars etc. I'm still on the fence as to eat them or not.

Yeah, it will, very rapidly too. This is how people develop diabetes, it has its benefits and its drawbacks I suppose.

If you eat that junk your body will have higher IGF-1 growth hormone levels throughout the day, meaning your muscles will regenerate faster and more fully. On the flipside, your appetite goes through the roof and you're likely to get fat or worse...develop diabetes.

I'm not sure what to do at this point. I've doon some research on Paleolithic eating which cuts out this type of food altogether, but i'm still not convinced.

remember what ive told you about Igf-1? well im using colostrum and am taking 10 or sometimes more capsules per day. guess what? im gaining height :) 5'7 1/2 to 5'8 1/2 ! I grew one inch in less than two weeks. whats crazy is that the doc told me my bones were fused so im thinking its because of my posture but then again, igf-1 does not improve posture. im also taking glucosamine sulfate with MSM, and amino acids like arginine.


I take about 15 capsules a day

each capsule contains:

Bovine colostrum - 1,000 mg
------------
bovine colostrum profile:

immunoglobulin - 20%

Lactoferin - 14.0 mg/g

IGF-1 - 1.152-2.1ppm

do you think this is dangerouse?

if youre bones were near fused you might be growing out of proportion, like check your hands and face and see if they've gotten wider than longer. im not sure though whats your im?

huh, that's interesting to say the least.

I'm guessing here but...

Growth follows a certain order of things, first your bones fuse, then your spine elongates.

So, your spine grew because you pushed your puberty along rapidly with the IGF-1 that you gave yourself. I'm not sure if this was very safe, but it did help you get to your final height faster :)

err, also. Why are you taking that sh*t if you know your bones are fused???

My face looks fine, but I can feel something in my joints in my legs more than in my spine. my knees feel weird especially when im walking they are very sensitive.

what I know is that glucosamine works on cartilage. cartilage is whats mostly active when plates are not fused, so im thinking I still have some active cartilage in my joint area of my legs.

some bones of the body fuse later I think and im guessin not all my bones are fused yet.

forgot to mention im taking l-arginine which is said to release hgh

Wow man, I'm a strictly natural athlete so I would never even come close to all those pills. I hope you know what you're doing.

I dont know what im doing, thats why im asking you, is their a huge risk in taking all this sh!t? I grwe, so maybe i can grow some more. if I do grow more ill keep you guys updated in about a month, okay. if I dont and you dont see me around the boards, then its because im probably dead or something.
