do you do heavy exercise with few reps or light exercise with a lot of reps?

I'm not trying to change my lifestyle by drinking raw eggs and getting those protein bars etc, but i just want to get a little more muscle on my forearms, and biceps. not tp make them buff but my forearms are like twigs..

and what exercise / machine is best for the forearms

thanks

your arms grow only if your whole body grows; concentrate on adding overall muscle. they will be in proportion to your overall size.

Synthol...........But if you're not into the whole 'injecting oils into your muscles' thing, than the advice given in the above post should do just fine. Don't become another curl jockey in the squat rack.

+1

It is SO annoying when you go to squat and some dumbass is doing curls in the squat rack. Especially since my gym only has 1 squat rack and I seem to be the only person there who ever actually SQUATS in it! :cuss:

Good exercises for the forearms: Deadlift, farmer's walk, sledgehammer swings, towel pull ups, grippers, rollers, bear hug sandbag carries. Don't use machines.

curls work out your biceps so do them all day long:yawn:

just kidding.

there is really no way to get just your arms bigger, and i don't think you would want to do that because a slim body+big arms makes you look retarded.

just follow the bulk up thread and stop increasing weights and tone down your eating when you think you're the right weight
