If you're walking down somewhere and a girl makes eye contact with you and doesn't like quickly pull away or anything, then is that a good sign to approach?

Reason I ask is I'm new to this whole DJ thing and still abit afraid of rejection so knowing if this is a good sign or not will sorta let me know whether or not approaching would be a good idea.

Also I read girls who aren't available (have bfs) don't hold eye contact with guys. True?

Nope, I've had girls make eye contact and even smile while walking next to their bfs. Hell, a girl in my college class who I never talked to before, out of no where playfully kinos me. I try and pursue things further then find out she has a bf. I back off and stop talking to her, and she purposfully makes the desktop backround on her laptop a picture of her bf to try and get me jealous, lol, I thought that was pretty funny.

Dude, make eye contact and hold, then say hi, then the conversation's rolling. Yes, they're good for approach. No, they're not necessarily single - but you don't need to wait for them to invite you. You put yourself out on a limb a bit. It's a matter of weighing risk verse potential payoff. You have a lot more to gain by talking to them than you have to lose.
