I am doing an essay on "Risk and Security-Challenges in the 21st century" and I'm curious what your approach on this subject would be.

My goal is to overlook as few things as possible.

Thanks in advance. :flowers:

If the focus is on the 21st century, make sure you touch on identity theft and phishing.

also you may want to talk about job security, as more and more fields are becoming less and less secure.

financial security, retirement, especially when you consider social security is likely to be a thing of the past by the time most baby boomers are well into their retirement.

Of course terrorism, rouge nuclear threats, dirty nukes and all that.

ecological disasters, global warming, cooling, environmental catastrophe.

increasing population, new diseases like swine flu (that turned out to be no big deal)

lots of issues to think about. You could easily write hundreds of pages.

Very good points, taiyuu. Some I really didn't think of.

Here's a virtual sake.
:flowers: (ok, no drinking smiley, so going for the second best)

Thanks all!
