I'd like to hear some first date opinions.

Alright guys, I've been doing very many pickups lately, but it's been months since I actually been on a date. I feel like I forget what works best for a first date.

So the girl I met last week, I talked to her once on the phone yesterday. She seems very interested and flirty, so she happily agreed to hang out with me sometime.

Now tomorrow, I plan on calling her to make some plans for saturday night. I was thinking of some possible places we can meet at for the first date, something cheap and fun. So far, this is what I came up with.

I'm going to see if she wants to meet me down in the city at the South Side, they have a boardwalk there, which is beautifully lit at night by all the bars, shops, and restaurants. It is also lined with tiki torches, which sets a nice mood for the date. Now, keep in mind, I'm looking for something cheap, so I don't plan on actually eating or buying anything anywhere down there. I think I'm just going to see if she wants to walk the boardwalk, which can be pretty interesting, since it's right along the water and plenty of boats are always cruising around, so there's lots of action out there. Maybe go into some shops and joke about some of the funny souvenirs they sell. And I'm definitely going for a kiss somewhere in there.

But anyway, my question to the DJs is this. Does this sound good for a first date? Or do you think I should do something more traditional, like movies or something?

Personally I like to go for the walks, because you can show off your personality and make lots of rapport and conversation.

But I like to here other opinions, so tell me what you all do for a first date with a new girl.

what do you know about this girl? has she told you what she is interested in? sometimes its not about what you think is a good idea for a first meeting, if she has divulged information to what she enjoys doing, put some thought into it

Sounds like good stuff man, I'd go to the boardwalk with a chick if I lived anywhere near the ocean.

Me, I usually like to do active stuff, hikes, mountain bikes, skiing, (yeah I'm so Colorado it hurts) going to the batting cages, maybe an amusement park or the shooting range if you're feeling dangerous.

As of now, all I know is she's quite athletic, she plays a lot of sports. But I guess tomorrow when I call her I'll have some conversation about her interests, I'll ask things like "Where do you like to go to kick back and relax." Just to get some info, then I'll take that info and make a suggestion, so far I really think she'll like the whole boardwalk thing.

By the way, I work in sales, so I'm good at making something that she might not even be interested in sound like something amazing. Haha, It's my job.

well it depends.. on how long i been talking to the girl

if she sounds like a LTR girl then i would do something like play pool or something that invloves kino..

back in the day when i was single,i just went to pick up chicks.. many of my first dates was at the mall. this way i didnt waste any money. why spend money on a girl that wont even stay with u because u knew she didnt have a chance but u still wanted to bang her hahah

so if u meet a girl and talked for a week or two and she seemed like LTR then i would say do something meaningful but make sure its very light.. like make it light as possible but do some kino(this way it shows ur a man and ur sexual)

when i say light i mean like light atmosphere, no holding hands and make her wait for the kiss for like the 2nd or third date( some ppl might flame me for that)

if u wanna develop some sort of LJBFB or fuk buddies.. i would say go for a wlak in the park...kino...

or just invite her to ur house.. i did that a few times
