I was asked out by a group of 6 girls...good chance for social proof? Or bad idea?

I had 6 girls ask me out for tomorrow (all going together). They want me to go to a show with them and hit a club after...

The chicks in this group are around HB6-HB9...

I don't have an interest in any of them (apart from the HB9, except she has a Borefriend).

My school is VERY small (60 people or so), and right now almost every girl knows who i am (thanks to the DJ skills ).

I should hit them up on this offer for social proof, no?

I guess i always felt that one guy heading out with a group of girls makes him look like he's a loser...eg) can't get a GF, etc.

Is that just me?

It's not just you. Hanging out with more than two HBs at a time is going to make others question your sexuality. No one is going to think that you're banging all six of them (even if you are Brad Pitt). But if you are only about having a good time, then go for it, but know that it's NOT strong social proof.

I agree that this doesn't seem like good social proof because there are too many of them, and what's going to happen is that they are going to go out and talk all this girl talk while you get stuck having to listen to it. Makes you look like a bit of an emotional tampon, or else gay, both being bad.

If you go out with 2 girls, that should be the max. Any more than that will be too many for social proof purposes.

I remember being stuck in a room with a bunch of women before, and all they did was yap about how much they liked each other's clothes, where the good deals are for clothing, and crap like that. I got out of there as soon as I could.

That way I don't have listen to the "chick talk" (mentioned previously), and i can still build some sort of rapport. Afterall i do want the rep. that I'm the guy who loves to have a good time, but has "other things" to do as well right? Leave 'em wanting more?

Now let speak reality. You being with six females IS social proof and other females will recognize this especially when they see these women flirty and kinoing you. I speak from experience and remember how much attention was drawn to me being in the midst of all the ladies who stood like a king with concubines.

Women don't think your gay when they see this but as someone fun to be with which lowers there defenses and have them wanting to get with you. The only faggots will be those fellas on the sideline talking trash because they wish women would surround them the same way. Believe me, fellas get jealous just like females.

So go out and have a good time and DJ all of them (giving the finest one the least attention) and watch yourself become a chick magnet in front of those haters.

Be an alpha male here. If they start talking girl crap then change the friggin' subject. Be the center of attention. Show them all a great time and it will be social proof X6. Not only that, they will be telling all their other friends how cool you are. Even if you aren't interested in any of them you should be practicing your skills. Get them all wanting you and the word will be out. Especially in a small school.

Slickster, no one is debating whether or not Tantric should have a good time or "practice" on these broads, the question is whether or not this is good social proof. Social proof is evidence that let's other girls know of your prowess to interact with others, in this case, the HBs. Social proof implies that you care about what others think of you. Tantric's situation is not good social proof. Being seen with two hotties may prove your desirability to other ladies but more than two HBs at a time looks too far-fetched. For Tantric to prove his social power, then he would have to add in some guys to balance out his entourage. If not, then the 6 HBs will make him look like a chick with a d*ck who can only get the attention of the ladies by serving as their emotional tampon. Here's the math of social proof and perception:

Aspiring DJ + 1 HB = "steady boyfriend"

Aspiring DJ + 2 HBs = "player" or "fvck buddy"

Aspiring DJ + 3 or more HBs = "one of the girls"

Aspiring DJ + 3 or more HBs + 2 or more guy friends = undefined
(people usually see you either as a player or the boyfriend of one of the HBs)

However, this is a forum and everyone is open to his or her own opinion. Feel free to disagree.

Go out and have fun...mack all of them, but pay little attention to the HB9. Demonstate c/f, kino, then after an hour or so at the club/restaurant grabbing the attention of the girls, get noticed, etc... leave. Whatever excuse...got a date...other plans, whatever...assuming I've DJ'd correctly, wouldn't that in itself take care of everything?

a) I've had a good time, b) i've DJ'd the girls, c) i've shown i;m fun and a "busy" guy with things on the go (which is why i leave early), d) spent enough time to get noticed, but not enough time to get classed into the "another girlfriend" category.

P.S. looks like it;s going to be a restaurant, rather than a club, so macking other chicks will be tough.

You're still missing the point.

Females like to participate in stimulating conversation so you have to say something that will get those emotions flowing. Take Tantric case for instance. At the resturant he can ask questions like: "What is one thing that men don't understand about women" or " Why some women don't want a man that another female don't want" or "What are the qualities of your ideal mate(not the basics: honesty, trust, etc)?

You see where this leads.

Off course one female might not talk but you got their attention so now you can evaluate who's honest. This works like a charm.
