hi, i weigh 170 lbs and am 5'11. however, i still look skinny and yet i work out. what should be my calorie intake a day in order to get up to around 185-190? I know to eat healthy and not junk food and crap i just am curious where my calorie intake should be at.

Protein - 360g = 1440cal
Carbs 300g = 1200cal
Fat- 110g= 990cal

total cals= 3630cals (which will def be increased over time)

15lbs of muscle doesn't happen over night, go on and let go of that instant gratification ideal about seeing progress in a day, that'll mess up your progress because this is a long term lifestyle change. You WILL make great gains but you have to stick with it.

What does your workout routine look like?

You're skinny, so I would highly recommend your eating junk food 2-3 times a week...McDonald's has a helluva lot of protein in their sandwiches.
Yes, and alot of saturated fat.

Better sticking with a weight gainer shake. Complex carbs, fat absorbing protein.

Also keep in mind that post workout nutrition is KEY. I have gained alot more mass since I started to take weight gainer shakes immediatelly after workout. About 600calories a shake. (60-80g protein).

About 1.5-2 hours later I eat a proper meal.

I have gained alot more lean mass that way. You have a window of ~1hour after workout in which your body readily absorbs nutirents.
