Yeh remember my post about "critiques on my workout please"

Well its been now like 2 1/2 weeks and guess what my six pack is already poppin' out even my female cousins couldnt keep staring when i flashed it.
My arms are also developing and my whole upper body is almost where i want it to be at.

Man thats why getting cut is not as hard as most of u people think i knew that it was gonna work and it is.

Simply with round 50 push ups a day
100 sit ups a day
And curls with freeweights im almost there.

Man and yall wassaying that no it wont work bla bla blah.

oh and i gotta point out that i aint do no diet at all i just started to drink a lot of water and left the soda and alcohol alone, all i drink now is only milk water and juice.

Damn, you might have stumbled upon something revolutionary if you're looking that good after two and a half weeks!

If you want to talk, talk to your friends. If you want a girl to like you, listen to her, ask questions, and act like you are on the edge of your seat.

Initial gains are the fastest by far. Enjoy it while it lasts!

BTW, you want to lift heavy and keep your reps under 8.

So what you're saying is that in the beginning you'll see quick results be overall you'll see the results be more spaced out later on? Pray-Tell?

You hit plateaus later on, and progress slows down.

This is also true for lifting strength, such as with the bench. You might find yourself stuck at 200 for a couple months, while you were previously packing on the poundage weekly.

I was assuming you were quite jacked when you said your whole upper body was nearly where you wanted it to be at.

That's great. As long as your happy with how you look that's all that matters.

Getting cut is just a matter of dieting (reducing calorie consumption below calorie expenditure). I don't think anyone here would dispute that you can achieve a low fat level without heavy weight lifting. What is hard is to get "cut" with large muscles instead of "cut" with just small muscles. To be large and cut not just small and cut you need heavy lifting beyond just body weight exercises like push ups. (The term large is off course a relative term).

Simply with round 50 push ups a day
100 sit ups a day

You may well achieve a descent looking body with that work out. You may achieve your typical men's fashion clothes model look with that workout but you won't look like a competative body builder (not even a natural one) with that workout. Once your muscles have adapted to the size and strength they need to be at to do that 50 push up a day work out there is simply no need for them to keep growing and they wont.

If your happy with the level of musculature that you get with your 50 push up a day work out then that is great. There is no need for you to get bigger than that if you don't want to.

Some of us however literally want to look like Arnold Schwarzenegger (in his prime) or the current reigning Mr Olympia Ronnie Coleman (perhaps because we suffer from biggorexia?). Anyway that is what I refer to when I am talking about "large muscles". You won't get larger muscles like that just doing push ups. (Actually you'll need great genes and a lot of steroids too).

The point being the muscle size that you will achieve with weights (without steroids) is much greater than you'll achieve with just pushups. If your happy with what you can achieve with just pushups then that is great. Many of us want to go beyond that level though.

Man and yall wassaying that no it wont work bla bla blah.
Actually it is probably more likely that they just overestimated the physique that you were looking for. (Being bigorexics like me they probably thought you were asking how to become riduclously big rather than just fit looking). But if your happy with what you got then 'more power to ya'.

There's no way you can achieve a typical "men's fashion model look" with that routine. Unless you're referring to Abercrombie models.
