It's not really being 'negative' if you're right.

First off, he's using the oldest trick in the book (deception)
Secondly, he's trying to pass it off as a new way of breaking the ice. (whoopidty-doo!)

In conclusion, I'd say he's a complete ass-klown. I don't care if he actually wins the bet, she's not going to be interested in dating him. He'll just come back in two weeks and start a thread with "What did I do wrong? How do I fix it?" anyways.

u saying "lets bet on a buffet" isnt even an invitation for a date....she probly didnt even kno wat u were talkin about, and the fact that she sat there thinking and then said sure like that, it means she said w/e aka ******** for W/E I DONT UNDERSTAND BUT W/E I DONT CARE.

next time if u really wanna sound better, say "aight lets make a bet, if italy wins, u get to take me out to dinner (****y/funny - notice how i worded it!), and if france wins, ill have to take u out to dinner (ur makin it sound like it would b a priveledge for her to take u out, but itd be a drag for u to take her out....u do so much with that line - u knock her off her pedestal if she was ever on one, u make urself the prize, u sound ****y/funny, and u lay out the bet in such a way that its a WIN/WIN situation!!

the only way she;'ll say no to that is if she had ZERO interest in going out with u in the first place, in which case u just forget about her.
