Here is my story.
Last year I had a great job that I really liked and it paid quite well. I had been with them for several years up until last summer when a bunch of us got the axe. There was a lot of permanent lay offs through the company when the economy went in the tank. At first I was pretty depressed about the whole situation, then after about a week of feeling sorry for myself I did something about it and got my ass in gear.
Now at the age of 36, I find myself back in college after many years. I'm wrapping up my degree in "wind energy" and working 20hrs a week p/t as well. I have a very nice place, car, clothes and money in my pocket so that not the issue.
I'm just curious how women might very my current situation being the fact that I'm in my mid-30's and back in school. I don't see this as a bad thing at all, but I can't help but wonder if that might be a red flag for most women around my age.
Maybe I'm just over thinking it, who knows. Any opinions would be helpful.
