I know that the more experienced DJ's are tired of seeing the same threads over and over (which is probably why the mods made the ten post rule)

but I figured that since most people post the same questions:

"What do I do if?", "What if she does or says ____?"

maybe there should be an automatic link to the DJ bible before a noob can even go onto this board (With the exception of current members)

So I wanted to know what do guys think of this idea?

Should there be an automatic link that takes you directly to the DJ bible?

I think this will help as it will clear out ALOT of the same repeated questions over and over....

There should not only be a required link, but a device that attaches to the PC and tracks the reading of the Bible. Upon completion, when the total page count is reached, it disarms. However, if the brave soul attempts to post before the count is reached, it detonates and the young budding DJ is no more.

no, that would be annoying for the normal members and there is a link at the bottom of the forum anyway!

I don't think it's as bad as you think. The bible can be a little tedious of a read sometimes, and if you're already frustrated and needing an answer fast then you won't retain much of it anyway. I actually think it's unnecessary as most of it's nothing but common sense and about having self respect.

The only bad threads that should be ignored anyway

"I got a girls number should I call her?"

"A girl looked at me what should I do?"

"She cheated on me what should I do?"

"She has a boyfriend what should I do?"

The threads that really need to go are the height and penis size threads. I hate that there are a dozen threads with legitimate questions with no replies, but as soon as the daily penis size thread gets posted it gets hundreds of views and dozens of replies in minutes.

A condensed version should be required reading because the full bible would be a lot to expect. The requirement cannot be allowed to become too large a barrier otherwise we will find ourselves without any new blood.

I dont know if i got what you're askin , but if you're saying that will be in front page and they cannot read or post without reading bible , that wouldnt be good . No need to force anyone to read it . Most of them are not total noobs . They got some sources (other books, seminairs ) and they dont need to start from the begining .

Linking to and reading the DJ Bible is not the answer. In order to find the answer to the question they were asking they would have to go through and read the titles of all the sections in it and maybe they might find their answer. And honestly they won't do it because people are lazy.

If anything there should be a Faq thread that answers the questions that DannykDJ pointed out.

"I got a girls number should I call her?"

"A girl looked at me what should I do?"

"She cheated on me what should I do?"

"She has a boyfriend what should I do?"

Also the problem with the DJ bible is that it is information overload. There is simply too much information in it.

Here is my idea for n00bies. When they want to register they should be taken to the FAQ.Then they should have to take a short multiple test based on the FAQ. If they pass they are allowed to post. If not then they are told to RTFM! :D

It seems that some people in the thread haven't read (or don't know about) the updated bible which could be read within an hour or two. As for the guys wanting a quick answer and nothing else, that would make sense if they had a solid foundation and came across a completely unique situation. Unfortunately we get:
  • I saw this new girl, how do I approach her?
  • Alright I approached and she had a high IL but the convo stalled, now what?
  • Alright, now the convo went well and I was able to get her number, should I call?
  • OK, it's been two weeks, is it alright to call her now?
  • I texted her 2 minutes ago and she haven't replied, should I text her again?
  • It's the next day and she's returned my text and says "what up?" What should I say?
The list goes, and on....

Week after week these questions are posted and reposted. RAFCs who haven't had a second date with a girl begin giving advice to these guys which only gets the guys as far as they have gotten, a first date and hardly a second.

Then we start reading the new threads written out of frustrations and despiration about all women are wh0res and they can't be trusted; that you have to look like Brad Pitt and have more money than Bill Gates. Anyone who's been here a few months have seen the pattern.

Read the updated bible, do the bootcamp, if you need more information read the tips section and use the SEARCH function. I truly can't think of a common topic about women which hasn't had a thread created in it's behalf.

It's easier to do a search and find a ton of already posted information instead of tomes being written about things which have already been posted ages ago. If you need further discussion why not just bump a thread which already had good momentum behind it? At least then there'd be a bit more solid information instead of a bunch of conjecture written by guys just trying to achieve social proof.
