I Might Have Been Proved Wrong

You know what I've said. I'm the one who says that being obese is the biggest detrement to getting laid. To be honest, I still think it is, but I witnessed something this weekend that shocked me.

I have a friend who's in his early 30's This guy is about 6'2 and 350lbs. I haven't seen him in quite a few years, so we went to a club to hang out and catch up on our lives. Anyway, he's telling how he can get all these hot chicks. So, I'm thinking BULL****. You're fat and there's no way you can get even a decent chick let alone a hot chick.

So I challenged him. I said I'd really like to see you pull that girl standing over there. Now this chick was easily and HB8 more probably an HB9. She was tall, slim, dark hair, dark eyes and extremely beautiful. He calls her over by us and starts chatting her up. Before you know it, they're clicking like a high octane engine and he GETS HER NUMBER.

I really couldn't believe what I just saw. I analyzed what he did and I came up with some observations. The most striking thing I noticed was that HE ACTED LIKE THIS WAS NORMAL FOR HIM. What I mean is, he wasn't stumbling his words, he wasn't acting nervous and he acted like it was the most natural thing in the world that this hot chick was talking to him.

I also noticed that he wasn't trying to be funny, or neg hit her. He was basically friendly and she thought he was interesting.

I still think being obese is a HUGE disadvantage. But this guy is obese and pulled this hot chick right in front of my eyes.

Just because someone is good at conversating with women doesn't mean he's actually turning them or on flirting with them.

No joking or neg hits? Just plain conversation? I call this being more 'friends' with a girl than sparking interest. Women love guy friends they can talk to about other guys who are treating them like trash and still slamming her.

And I totally agree, being obese isn't the end all of attraction.

I've seen some pretty raunchy looking dudes pull women just on the basis of sexual vibing. They know how to vibe sexually with a girl, they cut to the chase, and they don't waste time on boring conversation.

Being a good looking male is a great headstart to these things, but unless you have the know how of how to sprint all the way to the finish, you will not land women successfully (for the most part).

It's not impossible to get girls but he's probably gotta work that much harder because of his size. Get your thumb out of your smelly ass and realize nothing in this world is impossible.

He has confidence and no approach anxiety....good for him. However chicks give out their #'s all the time. Half the time its to get rid of the chump who is wasting their time. This does prove one thing for all you guys who are scared $hit-less to approach women: its not that hard and 95% of the time they will be friendly and talk to you whether they're into you or not..

Please post again if he fuvks her.......I won't hold my breath on that one.

I think we all have our limitations, but when we play to our strength's we can compensate and hide our weakness.

I would say that the majority of sosuave members number 1 problem is talking to women. I used to be close friends with this skinny balding metrosexual soft spoken guy that sometimes was mistaken for a gay guy. But when it comes to picking up women, he could really talk to them and easily pick them up.

Nice house, hot girl, good job- he had everything going for him. Anyways, he would always wear these shoes with a thick sole. It made him look like he was 5'9, which is pretty good, but, he was in fact only 5'7 and 1/2. And one day at an office party, he got really drunk. And, because he was under the influence, he accepted a dare by one of his coworkers to have barefoot race through the office. Little did he know, it would be the end of him.

I'll cut to the end. Everyone in his office ended up finding out that he was only 5'7 and 1/2. It was awful. He lost his job, his house, his girlfriend even left him...

The moral of the story is to never stop believing in the Wutang theory; If you believe that there's one specific thing that's holding you back that you have no control over, then you're an idiot.

My theory is to always keep trying to improve oneself. If you are fat and you ARE getting laid, it still doesn't give you enough reason not to work out.

Be you very best self. That's the attitude that will make you happy and successful, and improve your impressions on everyone you meet, and not just girls.

Some fat guys look very masculine, and good looking because they generally have bigger heads/faces. Tall and fat is no problem at all. A tall and fat guy will generate more attraction than a tall and scrawny guy any day. Short and fat is problematic.

That's what they all say. Guys bullsh!t with their mates about conquests all the time.

I'm not doubting that fat guys can get hotties. One of the hottest burlesque dancers I know is married to an obese dude.

However, getting numbers is too easy. Chicks give them out like free candies, if you open your mouth to ask for it. In fact, I remember very clearly the times I failed to get a number, because it's that rare.

That is why some of us are a little skeptical of your story.

There are some big guys that do have that charm thing going, though, that engages women. It usually follows however, from what I've seen, that there also has to be a cash wad to keep her around.
