I'm really not sure.... but my eye is irritated, there's a little yellow bump that hurts on my gums above one of my teeth, and there's an itchy (bug bite??) spot between my right leg and my crotch groin area.

I don't have discharge or painful urination, but these all happened within days of eachother, so naturally I'm worried. I've never had any thing hurt in my mouth for no reason, so I'm concerned.

I'm not a doctor, so I'm not even going to assess this.... possibly oral herpes??

I'm confused and uncertain on what I should do. I don't want anyone (including my parents) to know. Help me out.

You need to see a doctor. See what he says, and if you can, find out if any of the girl(s) you slept with had any STD. as BB says, you must pray about it as well. And if you read this, Scott44, this would not be a good time to shoot down christians.

Yes, the only thing you can do, other than nothing, is to see a doctor.

If you have a canker sore in your mouth you probably have oral herpes but if that were the case, welcome to the club. Half of teenagers at age sixteen have oral herpes and nine out of ten people test positive for it by age 40. If you do, it’s no big deal.

Oral herpes is at worst a minor skin nuisance. You get one canker sore outbreak about once a year for one or two days, triggered particularly if under stress, and the frequency of outbreaks diminish over time. Other than providing for a painful spot, it does not do your body any harm. The pain is rather insignificant except when aggitated by vinegar. If you have a “disease” which does not harm your body in any significant capacity, of which you will hardly ever be reminded that you have, what’s the big deal? Okay, so occasionally avoid vinegar for two days—what’s the big deal? The only “significant” concern is don’t give oral sex to a girl while you are having an outbreak, because then you may transmit genital herpes, another insignicant disease.

Pfft, your symptoms don't match any STD, don't worry about it man.

On a side note, if you've EVER had a coldsore....you have oral herpes because the virus never completely leaves your system. If you have had a coldsore, no big deal, you have HSV-1 and NOT HSV-2 (genital herpes).

herpes takes about two to three weeks to come out, just like chicken pox.

most people get really sick and feel like they have the flu at first. their lymp nodes swell a little. then the knots come under the skin and then you break out on top of that. it looks like the chicken pox. you might get one and you might get two hundred. they have puss inside that start whitish turn yellowish and then black.

you can get in on your privates, legs, belly, butt, lips , and the eyes and on your nose.

you wont "think" its something, you will see it and "know" its something.

please see a dr to be sure and get meds if you think you have this.

i caught my herpes with condom use.
it only protects the area that the condom covers.

You essentially upped your VALUE in her eyes by showing her that, if she wants you, she has to at times do things that you like to do. You are SOMETHING after all. You are NOT FREE. If she wants to hang with you, it's going to cost her something — time, effort, money.

I don't think it's herpes. The eye is pretty irrelevant. You can very technically get herpes in the eye, but it is very rare. Oral herpes appears at the very corners of one's mouth. The sore on your gum is probably a canker sore. A hsv II sore would probably appear somewhere near where you made skin-to-skin contact. It's a tiny little blister that hurts more than it should. It may itch a little, but it's mostly just painful in a way that a bug bite is not.
Herpes is a virus, so many people will react to it differently.

Obviously, get tested. But don't panic - I don't think you have an std.

You are so ignorant when it comes to herpes. Do some research before you post random symptoms that don't even remotly match oral herpes/genital herpes.

ORAL HERPES DOES NOT OCCURE INSIDE THE MOUTH. You have a canker sore inside your mouth buddy. Also, you probably do have oral herpes, but that's a different subject all together.

IDK what you have in between your legs, but it's not herpes (genital herpes occurs on your penis...and your eye thing is just random to say the least.

9/10 people have oral herpes, you probably do....live with it ;) Make friends with STD's if you're going to screw girls.

Actually, yes it can.

Deep Dish knows his stuff. But you can still spread herpes even when you don't have outbreaks.

Canker sores are not caused by Herpes. I have canker sores and they're caused by allergens, injury/trauma in the mouth. And just because so and so out of so and so have herpes doesn't mean I WANT IT or I HAVE IT. Those statistics belong to the more immoral population of America.

For the longest time I confused canker sores with cold sores, but I checked on it and I stand corrected.

Yes, no one wants herpes, compared to not having herpes, but in all relativity it’s not a big deal if someone so happens to contract it. It has nothing to do with morality. Nine out of ten members of the Christian Coalition, or any other group of people, have oral herpes. Probably many monks have oral herpes. For goodness sakes you can get oral herpes from eating food on a plate! (“Contact may occur directly, or through contact with infected razors, towels, dishes, and other shared artcles.”)

And yes, you might not have it now but there's a much better than a random chance you will by age 40.
