I'm serious. Most of you go through some kind of transformation when you reach this site about being a PUA or something along those lines. I didn't even find this place until I had lived here for a year. Vegas is the epicenter for players. The people here know what they're doing to a key. Not just people you meet who are players, but average guys who are making their way through their life, they dominate a 37 million tourist a year city. They don't worry about skill sets or lines as a PUA, they just handle their fortunate surroundings. In addition the women here are either single or divorced since Vegas has the highest level of divorced girls in the the 300 million people first world citizen US. It's a paradise for people who know or want to know how to make it.

Come to vegas. I'm not even saying meet me, i'm saying just come here and enjoy the ride for a week. You'll never regeret it!

I went to vegas on vacation in 2006.Adult disney land yep vegas is somethin else.Viva las vegas!:woo:

Suggestion-free drinks if you gamble, but mixed drinks are weak as hell, tip good and she comes around every 10 min or so.I switched to beer.

another suggestion- (you already know)get ur plane/room ticket sooner the better, cheaper and they fill up quick.
As far as women they are EVERYWHERE!

When you live here, the chimes of slot machines don't even phase you when you go to casinos. It's like living on a busy street, or near an airport. Your brain tunes it out. It's not exactly the same living here as it is coming on vacation...but it's close!

How do i survive a city where there are virtually no liquor laws? That is the tough part! This is really the key element to the vegas party scene. You can drink literally anytime you want across the city. There are probobly more bars then there are fast food restaruants here in sin city. The oppportunitys to go to a bar are litterally without limit. There isn't a single house in this very vast city that isn't five minutes from a bar. Survival very much depends on you not picking up the phone when someone calls you to go out...that's the big secret!

I was at four different casios and two nightclubs last night...not planned but that's just how it goes around here.

do you guys really have so few skills that you need to go to vegas to get divorced women?

I lived there for about a year, which was 11 months and 3 weeks too long. I was in the process of starting a career and living very cheaply though.

I wouldn't want to live there again, but I want to go back on business regularly. The people in Vegas aren't very varied. Generally, its people that love to party and profit off it, and then there's all the filipinos and hispanics that staff the resorts. But its easy to have no interests other than partying there, its las freaking vegas. All in all, I'm glad to have lived there, no where else like it, except Macau which is better.

Its a great place to visit if you've got some disposable income, that's for sure.

Aldaris is right, they show all the great stuff on the Travel channel. You're hotel room won't look like the ones they show on TV though, heh.

I didn't run into many single women on the strip except during the summer when large groups came together. In the down season it seemed to be mainly couples and families.

That's BS. Vegas is conciderably better then what's shown on television. I don't know where you're from but I do know it pales in comparision to the devil's den.

Besides after a while shooting fish in a barrel gets boring so it gives you opportunity to augment your skills since there's literally no pressure to succeed.

Don't hate, nobody likes a hater.

One year is not long enough to get a feel for weilding the almighty vegas sword. True the center of our industry so most of us get paid to party and very few people can keep up with local lifestyle. If you DON'T like to party then you should never conicder living in las vegas.

I work at the MGM Grand and I've visited the Macau property. Macau is almost vegas with LESS laws which is boarderline dangerous. Concidering how many fortunes and lives are lost here alone, I can imagine things will be out of control just as much there in the coming years when more people find out about it.

FYI You only see the REALLY nice hotel rooms if you travel in the right crowds. The skylofts at my job are bigger and nicer the the typical home and they were built almost 5 years ago. Every property has to one up one another to maintain the best clientel so they all have very nice mid to high end rooms. The run of the mill room that most people book are like motel 8's though. When you're talking about several thousand rooms per property you can't expect them all to be palaces.

Again, living here for an EXTENDED period of time is key. You can't aclimate properly if you don't understand the full extent of what you're dealing with. The nature of this city is unique and empowering for those who aren't afraid to step into darkness.

What're some good places to go to? I went there last year, strictly for poker, I just gambled 3 days straight, made a trip to the outlet, walked through almost all the casinos on the strip.

This time I'm supposed to go to some orientation convention (which i'll skip). I've gotten suggestions to go to ghost bar at the palms and LAX at Luxor. What're some good clubs to go to?

hmm... I should've went to get some decent clothes this weekend... I'll be in next wed.

I got it all planned out.

After college I'll go to vegas and live in an RV.

During the day I will work on my public speaking career.

At night I will be a male stripper!!!

The key to Vegas is knowing the right people. I had the Tropicana experience, not the Bellagio.

LOL! This is funny for two reasons. One it takes time to meet people anywhere you go. True I have tons of connections NOW but I've been out here for the better part of a decade. The more you get out there, the more buisness cards you'll pick up. Two my first job out here was lifeguarding at the Tropicana! That's very ironic concidering I've worked 8 years and now work at the MGM which is only right across the street from the Trop.

I stopped going to the ghost bar several years ago. The Palms scene is kinda hard to work since their property is so old. The Playboy tower is connected though so you should definately Check out Moon Bar/Playboy club. Moon bar is the actual "night club" really nice place, girls dancing on VIP tables, glass ceiling and the view is as good as Ghost Bar. The Playboy club is where you should do your gambling...if you're gonna lose to a playboy bunny right?

LAX is new and good. Check out 40/40 an tao if you go to the Venitian. Light in the Bellagio has been renamed The Bank...really cool and new and not too many people know about it so it's not too too crowded...Bring your wallet.

...Hope you're in good shape. Male stripping out here is a tough racket.

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

There are VEEEEEERY few places in the U.S. where any average Joe can party like a rock star. The only other place that comes to mind is Key West, and I love both. Kinda reminds me of being in Europe. Ahhhh.....Europe.....

I stayed at MGM with my ex a few years ago and loved it. There's just something special about getting tanked on large 44 Magnums with 151 floaters at Fat Tuesday and not having to drive anywhere....

I will never go back there in July though......"dry heat" at 110 degrees is just as miserable as FL's "wet" 98 degrees....I don't care what anyone says.

Vegas is pretty much the 8th wonder of the world just for the grandeur of it all. I think I will stick to visiting once every year or two though.

Anyone got suggestions of what to do for entertainment if you're there by yourself?

Yep, vegas caters to alot of desires. I go to the bahamas every now and again and the gulf of california alot. It's nice to get away but I really don't "Vacation" in the sense i leave the city too much. Everything I need to get away is right here.

Those Fat Tuesday drinks are pure evil...Some of the worst hangovers of my life. If you're planning on coming for good weather, next month until mid late april it's in the 80's around here. That's one of two bearable periods for people who aren't use to desert heat. The other is mid late september to mid october.

Dude....find a group of people partying and befriend them. Use that as a springboard so you have some social proof, and hit the clubs.

One time I was there I kicked myself in the ass for not approaching a cute little blonde who was checking me out all night.

Chicks are there to FUKK. I know a bunch of girls who hit vegas and find a random hookup most of the time when they go.

I went to Vegas when I was 20 and 21 (I"m 22 now), and I fvcking LOVED IT!!!!! There's something alluring about the intense desert heat and the seediness that I cant get enough of. I'd love to go there and stay for awhile.
