I feel like white girls want to be friends with me because I'm black

I have no trouble at all getting girls of other races but it seems like the white girls just want to be friends with me. Before they even actually get to know me too. They seem really flirtatious but when it comes down to it they just want to hang out with me. I honestly feel that they just like having black friends. I sure as hell am no chump either, I see some white guys act like chumps and they still get these same girls. It's the same way for my black friends. I've read the bible and everything in there is common sense to me. I just can't understand why they try to be friends with us black guys.

I hope this doesn't offend anybody but I would appreciate some advice and I'm wondering if any other black guys here have the same problem.

Maybe cause the white girls you are trying to get at dont like black guys? If thats the case, leave them alone cause its gonna start ****king with your head...Dont waste time with girls that arnt interested...

Michael - white North American girls are the hardest to figure out. I have no answer for you. Maybe you could tell me why I get tonnes of attention from white girls, but zero attention from blacks or Asians?

Yeah obviosuly but why do they talk to me and ask me questions? When black girls do this with me it usually means they are interested.

Hmmmmm. I'd have to think about that one. Is it possible that maybe they are interested in you and you are just not seeing it because of some sort of cultural issues you are incorrectly perceiving?

I'd hate to think they are befriending you out of some sort of 'novelty' because they don't know too many black people.

Or maybe you're holding yourself back because you might think they couldn't possibly be interested....

This issue seems to be a bigger issue in the States than it ever would in Canada or England, so I don't know....

Wow, this is a toughie, I'm not sure, I'm positive this would not be an issue where I am from.

I tell you what, I'm black and I live in Maryland where there is a good mixture of ethnicities and I've had more white girls come on to me than black or any other race, go figure. *shrug* Part of me thinks that these days its more "popular" to date black guys.
