i feel like such a loser right now

so this happened to me today. i get on a bus and sit in the back. a bunch of people come on and this hb7 is one of em. she has to stand in the front since its pretty crowded. we end up exchanging eye contact for a couple minutes, and she moves through the crowd and sits down next to me at the end of the bus. i say nothing to her. bus finally stops at the final destination and we both get off. as im walking i see her sorta trailing me and kinda next to me so i open her

me: whats your name?
her: why?.. amanda
me: so do you go to school around here?
her: yea i go to xy college
me: oh yea how are you liking it?
her: (dont remember what she said)
me: yea you look first year or so
her:no im second
me: yea i go to xy2 college (both are pretty close to each other, like 15-20 min drive)
her: so youre pretty much right next door then
me: so you go to this xy campus right? (theres two different ones, one in the city we were in and another further away)
her: ya the one close by your school
me: so you live in xy town then (town we were in)

this is where i messed up. she was walking straight ahead to get to another bus and i had to take an elevator up to go to where i was going. guess i sorta assumed she was going my way? so we pretty much ended up splitting up there. her interest didnt seem crazy high, when i was talking to her, but she didnt blow me off, i think i mighta appeared like a chump when i didnt immediately open her on the bus. either way i shoulda number closed.

That tense feeling in your head and prickly sensation on the back of your neck you felt will disappear when you come to realise a chick is a chick is a chick.

Enough exposure to this kind of thing will eventually numb you to the point where you couldnt give a fvck what you say to her or how she reacts, so keep at it.

No point telling you anything else, you know what you did wrong and where you want to be.

But I will say that convo was pretty dull and formulaic, you see formulas even bore the sh!t out of me and I'm a guy, do the math on that one.

the conversation sounded really dry. you really need to smoothen things out. i guess that comes with practice. there doesn't seem to be any transitions between the topics, you just jump all randomly and DRY across all of them.

i used to do this too when i was inexperienced and nervous around girls. eventually if you keep practicing your conversational skills will get better.

once you are just able to have a decent conversation with a girl, the game is really really easy. no need for corny lines or memorizing routines.
