I'm 30 years old and still living with parents, mostly because I'm going to school. The reason why I'm just now going to school is because English is my second language and I never felt my English was good enough to make it in School. My parents don't charge for rent because they know I'm trying to save money for my future.

I have a "stable" full-time job making only $10 an hour and I have around 20k in savings. I also drive a crappy 2005 chevy cobalt with manual everything except the transmission and the paint is all clearcoated. I could buy a nicer car with cash, but I'm not stupid to blow my whole savings on it. I have been broke and it ****ing sucks. I don't spend ****, I still wear the same crappy clothes and shoes. I live way below my means now. I was unemployed for 3 years and couldn't find anything, except little temp work here and there, otherwise, I would have more savings by now. I made terrible mistakes in the past, which included wasting my money on useless things, not paying bills and damaging my credit. My credit has improved from 450 to 605 now.

Everything is so expensive here, it is impossible to make it making slightly above minimum wage. One room apartment here in south Florida, is around $1000 a month. I could move out and live with roommates, but the lowest they ask is $500 for a small room, which in many cases, doesn't include internet, water, power. I wouldn't be able to save much money if at all. I would be "outside" my parents, but constantly broke all the time, at least now, I get to pocket my whole check. How do people making minimum wage can live anyway? I know is because they combine their incomes and if they are single, they simply get by, where one single car problem, could destroy their whole financial plan. Houses are extremely expensive.

I'm a decent looking guy and had girlfriends before when I was living in Colombia, where the expectations for men are not as high as here.

I feel like my life and status is not good enough for my age, and it is embarrassing for me. I feel like I'm not in a good position for dating women, even though I want to. I feel like is probably better this way, not dating, that way I can focus on continue improving myself and hopefully someday catch up with others.

Now, I'm in debt like everyone else just to get an overpriced paper. It is so ridiculous how expensive education is. I'm probably more knowledgeable and intelligent than many people with bachelors degrees, but because I don't have that crap paper, I can't make the same money they do.

Such is life, and I know there are men doing much worse than I do.

Life's Cruel Little Joke

http://www.sosuave.net/forum/showthread.php?t=104364

Life is a muthaf*cka and is also the ultimate revenge in some cases. While in high school and college, guys will pursue the hottest chicks on campus. (usually these are the well endowed hotties,) At this point in time, it can be argued that women have the power. Attractive women in their late teens and early 20's have this uncanny ability to get guys to buy them things and sometimes even get them to pay their bills simply because men find them attractive.

Young guys will get discouraged and sometimes have jaded view of women, but guys you have to understand life will play a cruel joke on these women years down the road.

As with meat, dairy products, and other perishable goods, women have a definite "shelf life." Hell, they even have a "best when used by date." Women are at their prime from the age of 18-35. It's this 17 yr stretch that women can use their looks to to their advantage, (however tide slowly starts to turn when she hits 25.) Though she's still probably as hot as August 18th, her best years are behind her and from this point on it's all downhill. When she reaches 30, for all intents and purposes it's a wrap. The ass is starting to fall down and resemble some gelatinous substance, her titties are beginning to sag, and she's developing crows feet. Some chicks have good genes (and if they take care of themselves,) these women can possibly squeeze out five more years. Unfortunately, these chicks are few and far between. It's usually around this time women start wanting "a good man." Let me add that if a chick pops out a kid during this time, it's a wrap also. Generally females have baby damage after a pregnancy.

Then there's guys. Guys don't even begin until 25 and our looks don't start to fade until 35, 40 years old. If a guy keeps in shape, He can negate the affects of age. Notice how many chicks talk about the "handsome older gentleman." Simply put, age doesn't f*ck us the same way it does chicks.

Then there's the kicker, the thing that negates even age. Money. While chicks gotta start worrying about getting a guy at 25, we just starting out, fresh out of college and trying to build a career. When it's over for chicks at 30, for men where just hitting our stride. Imagine being a Harvard Law graduate at 30 years old making a high 5 digit or 6 digit salary and you're working out. You'd be able to f*ck probably 85% of the chicks you come across. Imagine being 35 or 40, a senior partner in some prestigious law firm or whatever high powered position you're in and coupled with being single. YOU CAN STILL BE ABLE TO BANG CHICKS IN THEIR LATE TEENS AND 20'S!!!! This is my it's important to stay in school. This is why Leykis recommends against getting into serious relationships until your 25 or achieved your career goals.

So guys don't fret when the hotties turn you down. Stay focused. If you handle your business, in years to come you'll be able to have them. The thing is you'll probably not want them because age has set in, you will probably want her hotter, younger, sister.

Do you work out? Are you part of any clubs? Play any sports? What are your interests/hobbies?

First of all - Rex's post is spot on. You have yet to reach your prime while the chicks you are worried about are on the decline.

Second - Sack up and get a plan together. Start to indulge in the things that are going to improve your life and experiences. Push your comfort zone and force yourself to embrace change. Jump in the water and start swimming instead of drowning. Everyone here has been where you were at until they decided to start taking care of number one instead of everyone else. START LIVING.

Third - Career wise - Have you ever considered sales? As long as you can talk and have an aggressive charisma; the sky is the limit. I'm not talking about magazine subscriptions...

When I first graduated college - I got a job worked for an electronics recycling company where I was the youngest sales guy there. DIDN'T KNOW SH!T ABOUT ANYTHING. My target market: I got intouch with telecom companies: Verizon, Alltell, T-mobile, etc. and when they would upgrade their coverage or capabilities (3G, 4G, LTE, ETC.); we dismantled the bottom of all of their cell phones towers where all the servers and electronics are located, took the old electronics out to make way for the new equipment, took it all apart and refined all the metals from those old electronics on the commodities market. Sometimes yielding equipment from over 10,000 cell sites at a time.

I was the salesman for that and we made a killing. Didn't know sh!t about any of this stuff and my college degree didn't mean a thing. All I knew was how to talk and learn.

Everything went great until my boss got caught by the feds pulling some bs and the company went under. NO ONE would do business with us. All of the accounts I had - GONE. Everything I worked for for 6 years out the door. My boss d!cked me around on what he owed me and I struggled to pay rent and pay bills. I was f*cked with no direction.

Now - I sell diesel engines for construction equipment, mining applications, locomotive, maritime, and on highway trucks. 6 months ago I didn't know sh!t. Last month I made just under 20k @ 29 years old. I have the highest commissions 3 months in a row selling a mil and a half in under half a year. I'm sh!tting on these older guys because I'm hungry for it.

Point is - I was where you were at more than one point. Unsure of my future. Worrying about the accomplishments of others and the lives they portray they are living. Don't be fooled - everyone has problems going on. But you can't sit there and cry about it. Jump in, bust your @ss, and trust that it will pay off in the end. And once you get on a roll, make sure you are prepared financially, physically, and emotionally for when those rainy days come back around. THAT'S LIFE. OWN IT. AND UNTIL THEN - FAKE IT TIL YOU MAKE IT.

That four-letter F word is what is keeping you from having all the pvssy you want. Financial success correlates with success with women, because of the way it makes you feel, which influences your actions and decision-making, because all of those are a reflection of your self-worth.

I don't live with my mom, but she is just down the road. The last meal I had with a girl was me taking her to my mom's house when no one was home so we could scavenge in the fridge. I don't date. Women just come over and we fvck. By the second or third time, they know they had better bring some food if they want to eat. "Oh and hey, pick me up some beer while you're at it..." These are women I meet off POF, the free dating site, and I have never spent more than $20 on drinks for a first date.

I'm grateful I had money for a short period of time, years ago, because it taught me a lot about the mindset and attitude involved. That's why I don't need it any more to get laid. Once your mind can clear that Zen hurdle of falsely equating pvssy with money, it doesn't matter what is in your bank account any more.

If you currently have too many women chasing you, calling you, harassing you, knocking on your door at 2 o'clock in the morning... then I have the simple solution for you.

Just read my free ebook 22 Rules for Massive Success With Women and do the opposite of what I recommend.

This will quickly drive all women away from you.

And you will be able to relax and to live your life in peace and quiet.

You have 20K sitting around? Why not buy some new clothes or a new car.

If you're a 30 year old living with his parents that's your fault.

I know people that earn over 80k and don't even have 5k saved. So you've done well to save that and have more than a lot of people.
Try to look how far you've come and don't compare yourself to others. Even if your a millionaire there's always someone richer.
I remember a time where if I had $500 in the bank I felt like I was the wolf of wall street.

Fix your life.. Start loving yourself.. and then enjoy! Everyones life is different.. No one's is necessary better than anyone else's.. It's all perspective. If you go to a 3rd world country, you see kids happy and ecstatic just kicking rocks and playing with their friends.. That same level of happiness can be granted for kids in America with tablets and video games, tons of toys, etc
