I hate feeling sorry for my self and venting like this. Just thinking a lot about my life. I dont have it bad at all dont get wrong, but not how i want it, knowing how capable i am to achieve everything i ever wanted but not being there is a let down. Ive been doing alot and improving my self to get there every single day little by little.

Im 26 this month, living with my father, not the best living situation but doable (No rules, can have girls over..etc). I dont have a car (My fault, DWI, just need to pay off payments and ill be back on the road) Im horrible at saving, so i have no money to go out.

I work as a web designer from home/other internet services, but only word press and CMS' which i why i need to learn coding. I know i have time but feel like i failed so far. I create so many ideas, put them to paper and get them processed, but if i do it my self its only half assed. Its like i loose motivation.

Went to college for exercise science for 3-4 semesters. Realized school isnt for me, not has been. So im trying to find my way so i can get out of this house and live comfortable and improve my situation.

Its not even about the girls anymore, ive had enough of that. Now its about the money and having to live on my own.

I did construction for years, im done with labor work man. I hate it with a passion. My passion is fitness. Yes ive thought of being a personal trainer and ive done it but something in my head is holding me back fully.

Its funny I can approach a girl no problem, bang em no problem, when it comes to career/money its almost like i have no self control almost.

Here's the thing. You are only 26. You have time to turn this around in your favor in a couple of years. Right now, girls your age are still into the "looks matter" phase so you can still take advantage of their mindset. I was banging a 22 year olds at your age and they did not give sh*t about job, my car, my apartment.

They are thinking babies and family a little down the road....and that's when it gets sh!tty.

The problem when you hit 30-35 is that the women will still be attracted to you if you look great, but if you aren't making much money or don't have much status, they'll gladly fvck a fat slob who's like 4.5 looks-wise with a hint of game who makes $80K+ a year to have some security. That's just the way it is. I do well, but it did happen to me.

I'm watching good guys/good looking guys who make $35K-45K a year getting the boot and it's PATHETIC.

Money isn't all that matters, but you'll attract more women that way. It shows that you have your **** together. I hate to say it but it is true. When you get more potential suitors, you can then screen who's the best for you.

My suggestion is to apply for a few jobs within companies/corporate...like IT companies if you have some web experience. Corporate jobs are sometimes VERY boring, but they overpay people immensely. I know a few azzholes who make 100K in IT and it's embarrassing for the level of work they do.

You may start entry level, but if you bust your ass you can get bonuses, promotions, raises, etc. I worked my way up from a merely a low-level Designer/Programmer to a Director in 6 years. I have built award-winning campaigns. I had a 3.0 in college, but I busted my fvcking ass and when I got my first job and I'm now reaping the benefits.

You are no different than me. Get out there man and do it.

Dear Crissco,
A Word of advice from an old fool....Like you I have a passion for exercise, sadly it is not something everyone can do for a living indefinitely...If you are lucky and survive the pitfalls of life, you will age, sure your muscles can be rejuvenated at any time, but not your joints, put simply you wear out!.....sure one may slow the process down but inexorably, time grinds you down...for the average Joe breaks and serious strains can be taken in ones stride you have a bit of sick leave then just keep going, but a fitness instructor just has to be there, bright eyed and bushy tailed, rain hail or shine!.......Look at the Girls at the Bolshoi Ballet, for other than a handful their careers are over by the time they are 28...like fitness instructors there's a queue of young dancers in the wings waiting to have their brief moment in the Sun.....I was a Marathon runner, ideal diet, fitness regime, perfect body type but at 65 I needed new hip joints...it's inevitable,do your exercise but find a softer option to earn your bread!

I think you suffer from depression, loosing of motivation comes from depression / lack of social life and friends

Come up with a gameplan bro. and Execute it as soon as possible. Sitting at your dads crib chillin will not get your anywhere. You need to set up goals and get your way out of it.

If you cant figure anything out I would suggest to sell cars. It's something you will spend the majority of your time doing but you will be making money and at least it will get you out of the house.

I'm sorry to hear how you're feeling mate and I've felt the same thing at various times too. It's so frustrating when you know you've got potential to do great things but you made a few bad decisions along the way, took some wrong turns and got a bit lost.

My advice to you is to read Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill. Really take on board what he is saying and read it a few times over (or listen to the audiobook). You're still young and can turn your situation around. You just need to evaluate what you need to do to become successful, set yourself a goal and dedicate yourself to it. Anything you don't know about your subject, you can learn. Just make a decision and follow it through.

Been there fella.

It took a life changing event to happen to me to snap me out of it.

What I can say you is this: You are as good and-- as bad-- as EVERYONE else.

What do I mean by that.....well, what you need to understand that life is a big scam. You are fed mostly a bunch of bvllshyte from the cradle to the grave.
Some people are fed more of the right type of Bvllshye than others--mostly as a result of the luck of the draw as to who your parents are, and what socio-economic group you are born into. There are exceptions of course.

But who are you? You are a human, put together LIKE EVERYONE ELSE. If you think other people are better than you, then they will be. If you think you are better, then....viola.

Lets say you , and...George Clooney happened to be in the mens room cubicle next to each other taking a sh!t. Guess what-- you think his sh!t is going to stink any less than yours?

How about a guy that was born without the luck. Cassius Clay / Ali. DESPITE that he rose to the top. ONe of the biggest reasons why? He faked it till he made it. He told himself and the world how good, no, how GREAT he was, and fvck me if he did not live to become great.

This, by the way, is what that "The Secret" was basically all about. But the "Secret" is that you don't need some marketing bullshyte to tell you what you should arleady know: You are as good as you think you are.

Have you lived on your own before?

If not, I will guarantee that you will go into debt. You have no money to go out because you don't have enough income to compensate for the debt. Seriously, you have a roof over your head without expenses. What the fvck are you spending that on?

Obviously, you aren't at a job that isn't paying you sh!t. You don't have a Car. You don't have to pay gas or insurance. You live at home. You don't have to pay rent or utilities. (you might be, but your dad is giving you a fvcking break.)

I'm not the guy to give you inspiration. That sh!t NEVER works. You get motivated and do something for a few days/weeks and then go back to your own self. I've been there.

Listen, YOUR LIFE IS A MESS. You've only got a few years to turn that around. It looks like you aren't putting any effort to your career, you can blame everything under the sun. It's that fvcking juice to make money, you have to be committed to your passion. Work 12 hours a day if you have to to pursue a career. I don't close my laptop until 11PM making sure I am gamed. I went from a car salesman to a data center architect in less than 3 years. If you feel fvcking miserable about your situation, go fvcking do something about it.

This is the last forum you should be asking on how to turn your life around.
