Hey all,
so I met a girl in church a few months back. She's average looking(I personally would rate her 5.5) but strangely, quite desired by a few men.Initially I showed little interest in her,but the first time we met she kept on staring over in my direction, and even walked around me a couple of times(which I thought was to grab my attention)
So she asked for my email address(she's a frequent MSN user),and we went out together.Wasn't exactly a date since a couple of her friends(who are my mutual friends as well)were there. There were times when I thought she was jealous as well, since I was quite close with another girl in her church.I would go as far to say that she tried to get my attention, since she asked me once on fitness advice(which I always talked about with the other girl)
Fast forward a couple of months and she smses me out of the blue, saying she would like me to meet her.I declined, since I had a date with another girl that evening. She did hint to me that it was her school holidays, and that she was free so i decided,"Hell, why not give it a try" and asked her out.We went out twice about a fortnight ago.
All of a sudden she plays 'cold shoulder' with me,and when one of my mutual friends asked her who she likes, she replied initially "no one",and subsequently changes her word that she fancies an unknown guy who has been smiling at her. However, she did approach me asking some elementary mathematical questions which may-or may not-be an attempt to grab my attention.
So,long story short,I am rather confused on what to do next.I played my cards right by A)Teasing her(being ****y & funny) B)even made fun of her 'less-than-perfect' english as well as her incredible leaps in logic(read:stupidity) C)Not acting 'needy'(which I'm not, since she isn't incredibly attractive). D) she did tell me that she despises emo/needy men, which I promptly made fun of(calling them emo boyz)..in no way have I acted emo or needy as well!
However, what gets to me is that this girl, whom I consider "below" me,is actually playing me the fool and that I am rather confused.Rather,my ego has taken a beating.I can't believe this is happening to me..so what to do now?I was thinking of perhaps avoiding her,and just being friendly and all without signalling any form of romantic/sexual interest.
Any input would be welcome
Thanks,
K
