This post relates to DJing OUTSIDE OF THE CLUB.
Now, I'm not saying that a newbie shouldn't learn from other better DJ's, what I'm saying is that they shouldn't try to be their friend, my experience has been that these guys will actually laugh in your face, and take all of your potentials away from you. And not always on purpose I might add, it happens by merely hanging around them. The girls in essesence have a comparison point and the more experienced friend will win 99% of the time.
Sarge alone at home, but bring a bud at the club is what I'm saying.
If you have a friend who is your REAL friend and is there for you and just happens to be a DJ and won't ridicule you, then use them as support ONLY. Seek advice. But do not bring girls around them. The girls will invariably pick the better DJ, even if your friend is not actively DJing her. She will sense who has the better game and go for him.
