I need advice from you guys regarding hair. I know it’s important but I really haven’t figured out a good routine. I’m Northern European ethnically and have very fine hair. If I’m out with no product in and I have my hair shampooed, it will blow all over.

I usually put some fiber in and do something like this:

But then it usually starts drooping like this:

To me, it’s annoying that it won’t stay up. It makes me want to use my hand and put it back up again.

What I usually do is throw on a cap backwards and wear that all day, mainly because it’s low effort and keeps my hair in place. It also gives a bit of a bad boy look, and is decently popular for my generation. But I want to stop doing that and find a good hairstyle.

So with that I’m looking for some advice on what to do. For reference, I have a long, narrow, oval face. I was thinking of getting a perm and doing sometime like this:

Thanks

More than style is what product you use. I personally use American Crew Fiber (High hold/Low shine). But there are a lot of different products you can use depending on your hair type. I would stay away from gels, try either fiber or wax.

Do you apply your fiber when your hair is wet after you get out of the shower, or dry it off first before applying?
