I got approached by a guy selling fuel additives, saves you money on gas, emmissions lowered, etc.

www.myfuelpartner.com.

I have heard guys have tried it and it worked. But it has not been scientifically proven to work, so guys that said it's worked it could have been other factors that were causing the savings.

And the guys I've talked to don't work for the companies, I know regular joes who said it works.

But the thing is, the EPA has not approved it, SAE has not. The fuel additive companies have not even taken the test to get it done, they say, "They won't let us take it." I talked with the guy at EPA, and he said he wouldn't have a problem letting them take the test, no one has called him to take it.

So....I don't know. If it works, hell, I am a salesperson, I can sell the fvck outta it. But customers are going to be skeptical, and I don't want to put my name on the line selling folks shyt that fvcks them up.

You could install one of these, I heard from a few sources that it does nothing:

If you really wanna save on gas money, buy yourself a bicycle like I did. I use it everyday to trek to and from work, and I've save 50% on gas so far. The bike paid for itself in one week, and I'm getting some much needed exercise too.

All of those fuel additive MLM things are complete scams. You want to stay away from crap like that. Those guys didn't even try to defend themselves with their very breif "snake oil myth section.

here check out this http://www.hawaiionline.biz/fzetcomp.htm explination of why this fuel addtive junk isn't a scam. It's paragraphs of meaningless crap that you'd need an advanced diploma from MIT (or good common sense) to know if it's crap. I wouldn't put my name on that to save my ailing grand mothers life.

A business associate of mine tried to get me into this the week before it was shut down. He had several boxes full of this stuff sitting around his office.

Just remember, Mr. Market wins... always. If these things really worked, and were inexpensive to manufacture, not even the powerful oil lobby could keep it away from the consuming public.
