I am planning to go to South America - Can you give me advice?

Good Evening everyone,

I am 22 years old from the UK and this is my first time that I have ever posted despite being registeresed for at least 3 months. I am currently a student of Ross Jefferies books and will moving on to David Deangelo stuff next month.

Well lately I have had this infactuation for Latin Women. I have been planning to go for at least a year but never got around to set it up properly. I am planning to visit 5 places. Venezuela, Colombia, Brazil, Cuba and Mexico.I wouldn't visit places at the same time but I may visit 2 and do the rest in summer. I have done alot of research on the internet and found some ok advice. I realise one must be really careful when reading ad's from dating agency because it can't be that easy. I have never had the pleasure really been associated with any people from South America since there aren't many people living here in the UK(Except maybe London).

I did meet a few Latinas when I went California 2 years ago. OH and for the record you Americans are pretty cool people. I had a ball of a time at LA. Probably the best time was when I went to Universal Studios. Also I had the ball at the beaches in LA as well. The women are smoking hot, really friendly and easy to get along with (not like our English women although they are still sweet). I guess the proverb is true "the grass is alway greener on the other side". I felt as if I was in that show the O.C. The media doesn't do the rest of America justice and alot of Europeans don't particularly favor them at the moment(particularly the French). They base all their opinions on what governments do. I'd just like to say don't generalise people like that. Get to know them and then make you judgements.

Ok back to the subject at hand. I have searched the archives inside out and found abit of useful information, but I'd like to learn more about latinas, particularly those from these 5 countries and would appreciate it. I know that latinas particularly favor men with blonde hair and blue eyes but I have relatively dark skin (abit like Denzil Washington but much better looking ) so I wanted to know if they are tolerence of foreign black people at all and how bad is the racism down there?I realise that all women are the same but does being a foreigner give you an advantage in meeting more Latinas? And are latinas really all that different from our western women?

how bad is the racism down there?

It's not bad at all. There are so many mixed people of all different shades that it's too hard to be racist. There is prejudice, but it is mostly class-based. Rich people look down upon poor people. You may actually have it easier being dark, as pan-handlers flock to white people who look like tourists.

However, the countries you listed are extremely dangerous in regards to violent crime. Never display that you have money - no jewelry or expensive electronic toys. I think you are crazy to consider Columbia. Kidnapping is probably their second biggest industry (you can guess #1) . Mexico is very diverse, depending on where you go. The problem with these countries is that they are run by drug cartels, and you never know when you're going to stumble into some wild-west style shootout. Cuba may actually be the safest country on your list, but I would have no idea, as the US government forbids citizens to travel there.

Also, regarding latin women. They are hot, as you have discovered. They dance a lot. They are accustomed to men who are short and not that hot. I am hesitant to perpetuate stereotypes, but they do have fiery tempers. Have you seen the movie Blow? George Jung's Colombian wife kept flipping out and calling the police on him. I think this is one stereotype that is correct. An ex of mine is Dominican. All we did was fight and fvck - each at extreme levels.

Latin America

Latin America is where I take most of my vacations nowdays. You do need to know Spanish unless you stick to some Univsity girls or hookers. I prefer Argentina. In Brasil I'm not sure how well you'll get along. I went to two cities there and SP was very beautifully set in the mountains. I was told it is dangerous there, and I had a Spanish speaking companion who I met on the plane. I actuallty got a # on the plane ride, that's how easy it is to meet women. She even approached me. Get ready for the ride of your life partner, you ain't going to need pickup skills in Latin America!

Do kidnappings happen in colombia? Yes, but they are nothing to fear too, too greatly. There are a lot of people who go there with no problem. I live in Ecuador, which is the southern neighbor of colombia. SA is cool, but there is racism. As far as the blonde hair blue eyes thing, that is not true entirely. I have brown/black hair and green-blue eyes, and Ican pick up latin girls easier than American girls.

Just watch your wallet, but don't be paranid, otherwise you are just asking for trouble. If you can, come to Ecuador. It is better than colombia as far as safety and richer culture is concerned( I don't mean rich as in money).

er...it might. but much of south america actually speaks portuguese.

so yeah, learn spanish and portuguese. then you'll be fine.
saying that, a fair amount of the population speaks english and I'd expect you'll be able to get by with that.

I am planning to go to South America in April but I want to make a quick pit stop in California again before I go. I love that place. wavejams007 I'd be really greatful if you could tell me about some of the prejudices you faced. From what I gather its more of a class thing than a clolour of the skin thing.

There is a language school not to far from where I live. Surely they do spanish down there so I will see if I can enroll in a course.

I have also just received my David Deangelo DVD so I'll take time to revise that before I go.

I'm not meaning to generalize, but in a nutshell, this is the difference between argentinian and brazilian girls:
- Every single brazilian girl has something you are gonna be attracted to, something sooo fukkable...

My advice...

-Learn a little spanish, you don't have to be perfect, but at least learn how to pronounce the R. Everybody tends to make fun of the english R. You don't need to know portuguese. Brazilians can understand spanish, although it is a plus.
-Learn how to dance. 70% of the game is on the dancefloor. And kino is more important than steps. But you won't get to do any kino if you dance like robocop with ski boots.
-Hit the beaches. Those are magic places. Everyone is looking for a one night eternal love.
-Do your stuff. But do it aggressively! There's much less sexual taboos over there. And one aggressive man is worth ten thousand shy boys.
-Establish the fact that you're english, not american. There IS some kind of racism, nobody likes a country that has been fukking with them for over 50 years (although it's mainly the government).
-Have fun. It ain't about the girls. It's about having fun! If you're having fun they will come and eat from your hand.

I have received my David Deangelo stuff. I want to learn and practise some of this ****y& funny and inner game stuff before I go (maybe some neg-hits as well from the Mystery E-book). hopefully that will add to my Ross Jefferies stuff as well. I will loaded with pick up material before I go.

I have decided to go to Cuba, Brazil, Colombia and Venezuela. I will leave Mexico because a friend of mine from Gainsville, Florida told me that those women aren't too impressed with foreigners since the US is north of them so they see them all the time. Maybe someone could tell me diffrent. I am really excited about this trip. I wonder how hard learning the Salsa will be ? . Anway I will keep fellow DJ's posted on my progress and I hope you guys check in and give me some more of your advice and wisdom.

welcome to the DJ forum. what part of england are you from? i wouldn't presume to tell you what to do when you go to s.america but I too have had some interest in latin women but they aren't as easy as you think.

i think its bad advice people tell you not to learn pick up stuff. its a good move to learn that ****y funny and neg hit stuff. you are going to need it more than ever because if you really want the best women then your gonna have to charm them or network. charming them isn't easy because they don't respond well to cold approaches and you need even if you speak a decent amount of spanish or portugueses. the ones that are too friendly and easy to talk to are normally the ones that on one wants in that country or the ones that want you to pay for it some how or even worse the ones that thing they can get a greencard out of you.

alot of my mates must have gone down there before. 1 mate in particular went to mexico about 2 yrs ago for holiday. he has good skills down here in britain. he must have gone to tijiuana or something like that. any way hes half indian half english and from what he told me those women ain't any different from women in england. in fact he tells me that cold approaches don't work in latin america at all you need to network or go down with someone that knows the place and they can introduce you to the ladies. he ended up shagging a few or them *****s at the local cathouse. another one of me mate must have gone to colombia. he visited barranquilla, cali and cartegena. same story. he too ended up with this student girl who made him pay for sex.


those ladies don't need you down there just because you are a foreigner. they have money so unless you have contacts that can introduce you to their sisters then i wouldn't bother. getting women in england is much easier in fact. And don't forget the violence factor in south america. colombia is not suppose to be worth the risk. especially if you are wealthy. they have ways of finding out if you have cash, this topic atually came up during lunch with my friends colombian raised teacher who often goes back. they said to avoid colombia, and just stick to the other countries down there. its way too corrupt

I'd advise PadawanPUA to stay away altogether. its not worth travelling half way accross the globe just to see latinas. Try Thai land or philipines or any of the asian countrys.if you still want to go then meet people who live there and use them to meet their sisters who probably has friends and they have friends too. also learn spanish and some salsa. but don;t think just because you a foreigner they will ine up for u. its just not like that at all.

you need to network in order to get a latina or have excellent dj skills because cold approaches are impossible and aren't easy. your actually better off using cold approaches in america or england then there.

Mexico is not where you go to pick up women. Even the hookers are second rate there. It is quite possibly the worst choice in the Hispanic/Latinworld. You need to go to Peru, Argentina, or Salvador. There are already too many tourist in Costa Roca/Mexico, even the hookers are spoiled rotten. You have to go to palces that aren't literally crawling with tourists, and you have to speak at least some Spanish.

You can't just show up and expect the women to come running with their panties in their hands. That's not going to work. If you cannot speak to 90% of the people, I guess you better have a really good grip on non-verbal communications! Yes, outside of the tourist areas few people are going to speak english. Don't listen to the non-sense about everyone will speak english. Even in the tourist areas of Central/South America that's not true. You can be a tourist without speaking a word of Spanish. You cannot pickup the majority of women without Spanish skills.

I couldn't have said it better. they wouldn't run at ya like a pack of wild wolves. there is not easy way mate. being a foreigner can actually be a disadvantage because women who date foreigners are normally regarded as hos or gold diggers. you have to learn spanish and some salsa. Read the inner game,****y funny and other things. your just gonna have to adapt when you get there. youll be lucky to get one girl let alone 5. almost forgot about their fiery temper.

Easy

Latin Ladies are great. What I know that works is:

1. Learn a little Spanish. You don't have to fluent, just enough to have a 5 minute conversation.

2. Learn how do dance. When I mean dance, I am talking about whats appropriate for Salsa, Cumbia, Merengue, and Mambo. You will score BIG Time if you are any good.

3. Dress well. To a certain degree, guys are meant to be shown off, so they want them to look good. So wear cologne, get a good hair cut, clean the nails, etc. They notice this stuff and love it.

4. Act like a man.

While of course these are generalizations, they have worked for me.
