I found an ad in the phone book it reads

Hypnosis
-phobias
abuses
smoking
weight
anxiety
intimacy
self esteem

It says Marie Farban, MFT
Insurance accepted
-----------------------------------

Im going to sneak there without my parents knowledge.

What is a MFT?

Does a place like this accept plain cash?

About how much do you think this would cost?

Do you need parental consent?

Love,
Smooth

MFT stands for Marriage and Family Therapist. I don't know about your other questions.

I dont know, sounds like it could cost a few hundred.

How old are you exactly?

I think most places like this are scams. If you just download some videos on NLP and Hypnosis you can do this stuff for yourself.

I am 16 years old....I am trying to eliminate comletely my social anxiety. I feel that is the only part lacking in my game. A lot of times when large number of people look at me i get really uncofortable....especially when im runnning routines.

I think im gonna call....do u need parental permission though?

Tell her a little about yourself, but not too much. Maintain some mystery. Give her something to think about and wonder about when she's at home.

I dont think you do need parental consent since its not real medicine or anything, if anything just play it cool and go to the place or sign up or whatever and don't say anything about your age unless they ask.

I don't think you can ever totally eliminate social anxiety. I mean you could get it down to a minimum but it will always be there. The only way to really minimize it is to be in that situation a lot and get used to it. I think the reason you may have it right now is that you're just starting out and are new at being in the middle of things.

Once you've done it for a while you will get used to it and then your anxiety will fade as you will feel comfortable in that environment.
