Wonder what would happen is all this stuff went mainstream like that?
The world would be a better place, overnight.
(1) Men would be happier.
They would feel like men, act like men, even when they don't, they would be expected to act like men, which they would adapt eventually.
They would be OK with failure and rejection but they would get a lot of support and love and inherent respect which would refuel them.
(2) Women would be happier.
They would be courted, approached more, protected more, by families, and other men who are not their partners and they would be respected too.
Of course there would be exceptional cases where women were abused or mistreated, but rejecting the whole notion of biologically inspired traditional gender roles based on exception would be to reject the idea of using cars altogether because they lead to accidents.
I firmly believe that once the 'rebound' of the sexual revolution and feminism is over, women will realize this and accept a traditional, somewhat ceremonial role with well-defined boundaries they are more naturally comfortable with. By that time MRA will have calmed down, and gender inequality will be defined as an encompassing movement which would go after those exceptions I am referring to above.
I don't have good research to back up these claims, this is my instinct.
