I'm letting it heal right now. The elbow is clean, but all around, about half way up my bicep and all around my elbow like a cirle theres a weird purpolish yellowish bruise.

I got in a fight on Monday at a party and the guy grabbed my hand so I started wailing on his head with my elbow. Thats the explanation of how I got it if you wanted to know. Arm/leg locked him after he started talking funny from the hits I gave him, and the cops came and took him away, no charges laid, so everything is fine but my elbow, I haven't had the chance to talk to him yet.

Anyways what to do about my elbow?

I'm getting more range of motion back, I can almost flex past 90 degress, but its still in a lot of pain. Should I just let it heal, and get back to my upper body workouts minus my sore arm, or should I focus on lower body and core until I have both arms free again?

Rest until it heals. Keep your eating the same. You won't lose any muscle.

It sure as hell feels like I'm losing muscle. I'm surprised I can still move my hands like normal though, my arm is killing me.

Some people are saying rub gin onto my arm, two of my chinese medicine instructors are trying to get some funky stuff they use for tai chi blocking to prevent and heal bruising.

So I just keep going on my lower and core workouts though?

I don't know if I can hold form using only my left hand to steady myself during some of my movements.

No, just completely rest, no weights until there is no pain left. If you keep your protein high you won't lose any muscle in a couple of weeks of no lifting. It sounds like you may have ripped something in your arm with the localised bruising. Have you seen a doctor yet?
