How Would You Interpret This?

I've been winging for a friend that's an AFC recently as he asked me to help him a bit with his game. Admittedly, I'm no pro myself although I'd say I'm at a decent level and definitely better than him. Anyway, I took him out to a club this past weekend to work on approaching some girls. Eventually he found one, danced with her etc and got her number.

So he texted her a few days ago (he's not quite got the balls for phone calls yet) and she seemed to be receptive and invested in the conversation (long answers, flirting, emoctions etc) and then ignored him. She then texted him the other day after she found out from a mutual friend they happened to have that he's not that into her anymore saying, "Hey bro, I heard you're not that into me anymore, what happened to me being Ms Perfect?", he then went and did something that I advised him not to as it sounded real weak and asked the girl "what do you think of me?" to which she responded, "I'm not looking to get or go out to get emotionally invested in guys but you're a cool dude".

Now, as he's an AFC he refuses to ask this girl out on a date until he's 95% sure she's into him so he asked me what I thought of the answer. I said to me it sounds like an attention ***** that friend zoned him/is using him as a beta orbiter and made it pretty clear that she doesn't want any romantic relationship with him but he won't know for sure until he asks her out. Now he's stuck in limbo and starting to piss me off so I'm coming here to ask you guys how you would interpret that text? I need to get him off my back lol.

Never ask a woman/girl what she thinks of you... that is approval seaking behavior and makes a man look weak.

Her answer is actually not bad... the correct response whould be something like that was okay that he is not interested in anything serious either and just want to have fun, then ask her out.

He has to try and get her on a date, that is the only way he is going to know for sure where he stands.

From what I read I would agree with your interpretation. It sounded like she just wanted validation and what better validation for a female is there then winning back round a guy who is no longer interested in her? I guarantee, she will go ghost on him again as soon as she gets the attention she wants. Sound like she just wants a beta friend around to pump her ego up when she's feeling down because the alpha man she really wants isn't paying her any mind but like the others said he will have to ask her on a date to be sure. Has anything else happened since?

He should ask her out. He could do the experience. Her reply (to his AFC question) was not too bad. He should respond with something like "that's cool.. let's not get too serious too fast, I like to take things slow too I'm a shy and innocent boy ;)". Then wait for her "haha" response and then ask her what her schedule is like. If she's interested she'll make it clear she's free on this and this day otherwise she'll just say she's "busy" or is currently suffering from colon cancer. He will fvck up the date anyway but he needs to go through the rejections to mature. It's all part of the process.
