How do you keep a girlfriend of 6 months from cheating?

Also, how would you keep the relationship fresh? activities? outings?

You don't 'keep her' from cheating. When she likes/loves you like she's supposed to she won't even consider cheating. It won't cross her mind.

well, i just read in a post that all girls are shallow and they, if given the opportunity, will choose a hotter guy over their boyfriend anyday and cheat.

I'm here telling you that post is wrong. The person who said that must have been in a relationship where their girlfriend cheated. And rather than accept that she didn't love him, he protected his ego and made a statement on that blaming it on something else. Trust me, if she's into you, trust her - let her have the opportunity to cheat. If she loves you she won't even think about it. She'll only think about you. if she DOES cheat then she didn't like you enough to be worth your time anyway.

Listen to blitz.

There are too many post here from guys who are bitter.

Or you can keep her locked in the basement.

I think that's nan's point. When some one cheats (guy or girl) they found someone they like better.

You just got to keep the attraction level high...

The way Nan worded it, is wrong.

When you are in a healthy relationship, there should be no worries about cheating....It's once the relationship starts to grow stale, that cheating would occur.

If she loves you, then you have no worries.

What the other thread was getting at was that if a better guy comes along, the girl will most likely leave her Bf for the new guy; IF things have gotten to the point where she no longer cares for him, anyways.

That's where the "shallowness" occurs. Most women aren't as guilty minded when it comes to looking out for their own interests. They could care less who they hurt, as long as they get the good end of the deal.(which they usually do). Most of the guys on here can atest to that statement.

nan3109, let me try to answer your first question: IMO, the best way to keep her from cheating on you is for her to to keep YOU from losing interest in her.....i guess CHALLENGE is what im trying to say.

They only as hot as you make em out to be... if they too hot for you, then why should they be with you? They'll find someone hotter, or equal.

It's true, if you maintain, and keep your head on straight, and keep the mystery alive, cheating doesn't cross their minds. I don't care if Brad Pitt walked in... they will be loyal.

It's not a good chance it will last no... :( ...she movin, I'd focus on having as much of a good time as I can before she left, right(?) :) ..what you want to do is make such an impact, that when she's in another city, all she could do is think about you. Trust me, keep them thinking. If she cries when she says good-bye, congrats, ya did it. :) ....hell, that's what I did with my ex-wife. She moved away, and as soon as she could drive, she drove back down to see me. We got married, a few years after that, then got divorced, but that's something else I don't want to talk about.. ;)
