All advice is appreciated but please refrain from the whole "Act like an AFC, buy her dozens of flowers, and tell her you love her" advice. I know that it works but I don't want to do anything that will make me look like a fool. I also don't want to be seen as a jerk (although a little resentment is inevitable).

Also, how do you pursue a girl when you told another girl that you weren't interested in dating anyone at the moment?

Part 1: Just act distant, in a conversation contribute the bare minimum. Allow conversations to die. Use silence. Most guys here have the opposite problem... just read some of the screw up reports, and do what they did.
