I went to a party yesterday with some friends and drank my ass off and tripped on the street and fell flat on my face.lol. now I have a couple scabs on my face. my question is what can I do to treat those scabs so that they heal nicely and without leaving scars? any good creams/ointments whatever that I can use? thanks

Chances are your face won't scar. It takes some seriously deep wounds for that.

Yeah... I think scabs are your bodies way of preventing scars in the first place.

Only when you stich skin together, or when there's a deep gash that CANNOT be filled by blood cells to create that wall (scab), then you know, your bodies gonna start producing that extra skin to close the wound... resulting in a scar.

Don't look at me like that, I'm no doctor. I just liked reading the health books when I was lil... mostly only for the sex articles. :-D

scabs just go by themselves.

Leave the scab alone. Do not pick it. If anything put a bandage over it so its stays longer on your face until the skin heals fully.

The scab is there to protect the growing tissue underneath.

Neosporin...

If it does scar up, go get some Mederma from the drug store.
