How to react to guys flirting with your girl?

Basically how would you handle the situation without looking like a jerk?
Just brush it off? or put your foot down? maybe somewhere in the middle?

To relate it to me, I've spoken to my girl about it and she says she hasn't noticed, so obviously its with this dude that the issue lays.

The other thing is, girls like us guys love gettin attention, so is it wise to destroy such attention?

If someones hitting on her without directly approaching her, like from a moving car or from across the street, I play it off by pretending they were hitting on ME and act like I'm annoyed that I'm constantly hit on every day. It's hilarious and it deals with the situation. If you get mad about it, it looks like you're afraid of losing her to some random loser.

Obviously your gf is smarter than you. Of course she is going to say she hasn't noticed anything. It's no skin off her back the guy is flirting with her - her ego gets boosted, she feels good about herself and always knows there is a second option available in case she stops having sex with you.

The issue lies with your girl, not with the guy. Do you think he would continue to flirt with her is she shut him right down? Do you think he would continue to flirt with her is she told him "I apologize, but I have steady boyfriend and really feel its inappropriate we continue like this" Do you think he would continue to flirt with her if she was cold, told him off, or said she would call the Police is he continues his inappropriate ways? Of course not. She loves it and will continue it as long as she can milk it.
