Is there any guys out there who talk to woman who are really into studying?
Or are there any guys on here that can relate to my way of thinking, but that are successful with women?

See my whole problem with reading all of the scenerios on this site is that, the life of most people is very different than my own. I love talking about school related subjects in depth, but I can not watch movies or tv etc. and I don't really like to be social, except with a few long time friends. I can not go to bars, but I still like to drink and all.

Would it be okay to make a cold approach and say that "You come off as intelligent, do you read alot?

Go to starbucks for a coffee and wander around the chapters that is attached. People that read a lot are usually into theatre and "artsy" type things.

Or just go for a walk with her.

I love bookworms

Call me odd (and I am), but I love bookworms. I like a sexy woman with glasses. Anyone can find your typical bloated TV watching, big-haired, junk food-eating American woman. Find a woman who can talk in three or more syllable words, has read dozens of books, and is kind and witty at the same time and you have me hooked.

The problem with a lot of these women, however, is men are often way down the totem pole in terms of priority ... trust me on this as all I dated in grad school were eggheads. I was like priority five.

That said, I'd go to the library, coffee shops, bookstores, and if there's a college campus, walk around there and chat up the women.

I flirt with librarians all the time and they enjoy that. "That Hemingway looks good on you!"

start reading and bump into her at the libary.
find at least one author whose books you enjoy and then you at least know oen thing to talk about.
example, steven king, john grisham, dean koontz,

or instead of one author, find one type of thing you like to read about and read that.
example politics, history

Better than TV

A girl who studies all the time actually engages her brain and down the road -- I know, most people here and in the world do not look down the road -- can actually discuss on a variety of topics, speak in more than one-syllable words, and have some depth to them.

The alternative is a woman who watches TV. In America, women are either TV watchers or not, there is rarely an inbetween.

You can have the fat hostess, soap opera woman; I'll take the sexy, brainy bookworm any day.

* We'll get an example of some hot/in-shape 30-40-something woman who is well-read, watches a little TV, and is quite intelligent. In the U.S.A., that's 1 out of 10,000.

ever look at someones handwriting when they write their name or a short note?

according to the 2006 edition of the farmers almanac , someone who breaks a cursive word to write the letter s and go back to cursive , enjoys reading in their spare time.
very neat huh?

Hmmm, she must have read the Karma Sutra and whole load of other Sex Ed books.

I also pretty much exclusively date bookworms. You are right in saying that men is often way down on there list of priorities, UNTIL you get passed a certain point. Once a woman like this decides that you are the one for her she will make you a priority in her life.

Cold approaches on bookworm-type girls rarely work, these girls usually have their defenses WAY up.

You have to meet these girls through shared interests and social circles, really it's the only way I have found.
