How to overcome this issue ...

Hey guys Ive got a huge sense of pride ,Im a pretty good looking guy ,but when it comes to approaching girls ,I think to myself i dont wana look stupid a guy like myself approaching a girl who say isnt on the same level etc,I know its the prob the wrong attitude to have ,and alot of my friends have no shame like they will do stupid things ,whereas i think i dont need to lower myself that low ,Ive noticed that all these guys with no shame are the ones that succeed the most but its just not the way i was brough up or not me if u guys get what i mean,whats the best way around this any ideas ? thanks

it ain't about humiliating yourself.

if you just stay back and be afraid of being "humilliated" only means you're afraid of others judgement. What can you be that ashamed of when talking to a girl? Seriously.

There's another thread on the front page right now about approach mentality. I have a step up over most because most of my approaches are at my fraternity, giving me all sorts of excuses to talk to women. That being said, go up to women to talk to them and get to know them. Actually the best way to probably think about it is to go talk to girls trying to make them smile. If you do that, and get good at it, the results will come.

when you say "girls that aren't on your level" do you mean you think they're too hot for you or too stupid for you? because I constantly run into problems with the latter...

yeh dude it dont matter how good you are with girls when you go for the first few approaches your a** is gonna be nervous its just nature. when my buddies get shot down we just laugh it off. but like you said the ones who have no shame get the girls duh! are you really that ignorant its called confidence you just gotta go with the flow don't worry about what she says cause when anybody looks at me disrespectful or like they don't like me, i could give a shyt less they can go on being fooled by the slave world of snobs. look at the ones who were like that 40 years ago and look at them now alot of them if they never changed are very unhappy people. when i reach that age i know im still gonna have places to go and people to see.
