How to make morw friends???

so i have been reading the forums for some time now but i still dont have a clue as to how i could make more friends

i go to high school as a junior and have about 3 friends, we dont hang out but we talk everyday

i have 0 female friends, how can i make more friends because as of now my high school rep sucks

i did just get hired at a large park so tell me some things i can do from the start

also im a foreigner but i can speak perfect english and most people say i act whiter than most white kids

will my ethnic bg create a problem in becoming a true dj?

I know it's common advice, but join a club or sport. It seriously works. Start going to parties more. That's the perfect environment to make friends because usually everybody is friendly after a few drinks in them. Start being more social at school. I'm assuming you go to a normal school, that's what 6 class periods? That's 6 different opportunities you can be getting to know people. Take advantage of class projects. Perhaps work with other people you wouldn't normally work with. It's already towards the end of the year, I'm sure you already know a bit about most of the people in your class (even if you don't know them directly) if you know they like a certain band, have a hobby or something strike up a conversation about it. "Hey, I saw you wearing that Zeppelin shirt a few days ago. Do you play guitar?" Just simple stuff like that. It may seem like a stupid conversation starter but at least it gets you talking. It's all a matter of breaking the ice. Once you talk to somebody at least once then you can smile and say hi to them when you run into them and it wont seem weird. Find out where the other kids hang out at, is there a local joint of pub where people hang? A hookah bar? A fast food restraunt? I'm sure none of your class mates just sit at home all day, so if you run into them strike up a conversation with them. Just work on being more social. Some of the guys here will probably point you to RSD. I haven't read it yet myself though. I know there's a few things in the bible about this though, I mostly just stick with that. Hasn't failed me yet.
